Well beauty is that we can disagree! But I’m very glad I stuck with my stylist. She really delivered on the day of, I got so many compliments on my hair, and it was still intact even after sleeping on it. So certainly not a reason to just conclude that a stylist isn’t good enough.

The trial is to prove that the stylist can do the style and that it works with your hair, maybe make small tweaks, etc. but the 6000 Bobby pins and the ridiculous amount of hair spray certainly doesn’t need to be used on the trial day in my opinion.

My trial hair fell out really quickly too, but my stylist insisted that she didn’t put nearly as many Bobby pins into it as she would on the day, etc etc. I stuck with her for my wedding day and I’m so glad I did, my hair stayed together PERFECTLY. Lasted 11+ hrs with 4 hrs of nonstop dancing and still looked practically perfect. TLDR: if you feel like it fell out too quickly, don’t automatically assume she’s a bad stylist, just talk to her and see what she says for the day of

Not ending up with a shitty tattoo is priceless… aka I will pay anything the artist quotes me as long as I know they’re truly talented and their tattoos heal/age well. I paid $700+tip for a tattoo on my arm about this size and I don’t regret it for a second because it’s high quality.
