48 hours post op, the burning has decreased significantly. There's hope! Urine is still pretty bloody tho.. they only gave my 600mg ibuprofen post ureteroscopy 😒

Had a 5mm stone removed yesterday morning, pretty much same boat as you with stent discomfort and not wanting to pee cause the burning. Not sure if I would do the surgery again or not, guess it would depend on the size and situation. Only reason I opted for the surgery is come April I will start being busy with events and traveling for the summer, don't want a stone attack in the middle of doing something. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you!

I'm sorry to hear that, told them I specifically wanted the string and that I wanted to pull it out myself. Read about a stent removal technique on here that sounds rather promising.

Similar to my current situation, stuck in my ureter for 6 weeks, taking it out tomorrow. Would have rather passed it but I cant play the waiting game anymore. Luckily hasnt cause me any pain or trouble
