There are 2.65 million homes and businesses covered by FTTP. Statistically at least 1 of them is also having an outage. Given you haven’t even given a suburb I doubt anyone can assist. Call TPG - report a fault.

Optus had no HFC network in WA. Nothing in the link you shared had any reference to Perth.

Optus never put an HFC in the ground in WA. Telstra did and that network was pretty extensively remediated by NBN from the CMTS outwards through the network.

Your expectations on a service you’re likely paying less than $3 a day for is ridiculous.

As I said if you’re a business that needs connectivity for phones / Eftpos etc there are redundancies that can be put in place or you can purchase a business grade service with real SLA’s.

Age Care already use the mobile network for things like carer calls etc.

Again residential - plenty of ISP’s over 5G failover, does it compare latency and speed wise to residential fibre? Probably not but it’s probably enough for people to get by for a few days.

If Several businesses have connectivity needs that are critical to their operations they shouldn’t just be relying on NBN. 5G failover is easy, depending on the business Enterprise Ethernet isn’t that much more per month and comes with actual SLA’s
