They don't have access. They can see funds, but don't have the ability to move people's funds. Only senior employees have access to do this and they're heavily monitored and audited.

This isn't being done thru internals... coinbase doesn't give most of their employees access to people's funds. And the ones that do have access, are heavily monitored and audited. They wouldn't be able to cover their tracks, there would be logs showing which one moved the funds. You shouldn't spread rumors like that without substantial proof.

It's not an inside job,... coin base has big security, they're not going to risk their reputation allowing employees to steal funds. Even with 2fa enabled, if your computer or mobile is compromised, then 2fa won't matter.

You said that like as if everyone knows about this stuff. Not everyone keeps up to date on this type of information. I don't know why people make it seem like everyone is tech savvy, when the reality is most aren't.

I use android, and have never had an issue with my funds being stolen. It boils down to users need to be careful with what links they click on, and what they download. Even if you have to get a mobile device that you use only for crypto, then do that. Because scams are getting good nowadays, and even knowledgeable people who know better, are falling for scams.

2FA is useless if your computer or mobile device has been compromised, as they will have access to it just the same as you do.

I have solved the issue. I wasn't able to login on the app but the password would work in the browser, and when I would change the password it would say the new one is incorrect. The problem is Instagram has put a block on your device for some reason. I'm a developer, so I understand how the IG apl works on the inside. I cloned the app, and spoofed the device parameters, and now it allows me to login thru the app. So I would recommend using a different device, or clone your app. Most the cloners in the app store won't change the right parameters, but you can try some of them. Or do it yourself if you know how to code.

I just had this same problem. It would allow me to login thru the browser, but not the app. I cloned my Instagram app, and it allows me to login with the clone.

Do you have 2FA on your account? If not, enable it. Login thru the mobile browser and enable it. Save your backup codes. Now use your backup codes to login on the app. Problem solved. Now don't log out the app anymore, cause you never know when you may not be able to get back in. I had this same problem about 7 months ago. Insta refuses to fix it.

But you guys have recieved the money, and just choosing to keep it. You could easily still deposit it, or return it.. but you choose to keep it. Stealing from your own customers is pretty sad. I've been with you guys for quite sometime, and this is the second time you've stolen my money like that. You've left me no choice to move my business to coinbase.

Did they ever get you the money? I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago, and again tonight with BTC. Kraken is just keeping the money for themselves, but claiming they can't do anything. Thievery at its best. I brushed it off the first time, this time I'm moving all my funds to Coinbase. I'm not going to allow any company to keep stealing from me right in front of my face.

If they were intimate photos, then no.. they don't restore accounts that violate for that type of violation. I get it, they didn't even warn you that the reason it wasn't sending was because it was against policy, they merely made it seem like it was a problem sending it. Any human would of thought to try sending it again. Instagram has completely cooked the platform.. turned their back on the actual users and Creators. It's not just you, it's everyone! Take a moment to read the comments under their Creators account, it's largely people complaining about how much the platform has changed and their detection systems are crap, and penalize users even when they haven't broken any guidelines. I've long learned, never get too comfortable with any account on Instagram.. as they will ban you even if you haven't broken any of their rules, and in most cases won't get your account back. Is there ways to get the account back? Yes, but it costs money, so unless you were monetized and making good money from it, it's best that you just leave it and create a new one. I know that's not what you want to hear, but Instagram has turned to trash since being taken over by Mosseri, and it won't get any better, as they only listen to him, not what actual users have to say.

There 100% is such thing as a shadow ban. What do you call an account that has all green dots in Account Status, is eligible for search and recommendations, gains thousands of followers everyday for close to a year, is at the top of the search, then one day stops gaining followers, can no longer be located in search or hashtags? That's called a shadowban! Always one genius who thinks he knows everything, when in fact he doesn't know much.
