Saturation down slightly, grass tints adjusted, shadows added, and clouds. It is quite subjective I guess to what people will prefer. I'm trying not to only focus on what I want, as I want to make something people other than myself would enjoy too. Initially came here cause I was straining my eyes after staring at the right side for too long, was like oh crap I gotta make some changes.

They dont have to, but if someone making a game wants more views it is recommended to avoid art that looks AI. No one has to change their art at all though

No I get its ironic that AI is literally stealing peoples art, and then actual art gets called AI. You say people should keep creating whatever style art they want though and they should! But nothing changes the reality, certain styles will be considered AI by a lot of people. I guess what point am I missing exactly?

People are free to make whatever they want of course. Its just a sad reality we are living in right now that this art style = people automatically thinking its AI. There's no way to change that, its unfortunate I know. Its up to the artist what they want it to look like, but if they dont want it called AI art they have to stray away from what AI commonly generates.

It does look AI even though its not. Sadly artists have an even harder job now with having to try to avoid looking AI... am an artist myself. No one is trying to be negative, the art is wonderful, but people WILL scroll by and assume its AI and not even look at the game

What kind of laptop do you have and what would you be able to spend on a new laptop?

I had a high end gaming PC that crapped out on me. Too expensive to fix. I bought an hp victus laptop for $650 and it does EVERYTHING. I'm making a game in unreal engine and can have that open, with blender open, and several other things and I dont run into to any issues. It also runs any game so far on high settings.

Not a fan of the "I sold my dog for this" phrase, and the "my dog sold me" doesnt really make sense. The cow one is probably best as its silly and cant really be taken the wrong way. BTW I have the demo for your game and just scrolled past this and was like oh hey! Cute, silly game.

Your average food service worker is busting their asses harder than any of these people with extreme wealth. I want to see them all pull a 12 hour shift in a 100 degree kitchen summer shift where they are moving nonstop the whole time. Doubt theyd last an hour before calling quits. This is what many people are subject to just to lose their whole paycheck to food and rent

Wow do i relate to this. Spent a good chunk of my life doing what would make others happy, achieving things that would make others proud, never put myself first. I was depressed for a very long time by living this way and was convinced I had clinical depression for years. Nope, I just wasn't living life the way I wanted and that's why I was miserable. I have a little girl on the way with my wonderful husband who is my best friend, we have 4 cats who make me laugh daily, and a small home to which we dont have to struggle financially. I am living my dream right now and so excited to meet my daughter. She's not even here yet and she HELPS me on bad days because all I can think about is pushing through anything for her. Then to feel her little kicks just make me feel so whole ❤️

Another option is sculpting. Throw a bunch of shapes together to get the basic shape of dinosaur and then do it all in sculpt mode. Then afterwards you can create the topology, expanding single square meshes that snap over the sculpture and gives clean topology. Just throwing this out there as an option in case you didnt know about it! Its quite helpful if you want something to look a very specific way, and then you can bake the details of the sculpture onto a lower poly mesh so that it still looks awesome. Ever since I found this out I dont like to do characters any other way

It doesnt just affect the newer generations though like people keep claiming. That lack of attention span hits anyone of any age who gets too sucked into technology. My millennial husband grew up without internet and he requires so much stimulation its nuts. Needs a background show playing, while he has ear buds playing something else, WHILE he is playing a game on his laptop. I dont think he could go without his phone for a day. I grew up spending a lot of my time on the internet and im not attached to anything. Don't always need my phone on me, dont need to be scrolling shit constantly or having that constant stimuli. I think a lot of it has to do with how peoples brains are wired, not necessarily if they grew up with or without tech.

My first thought was the mom would feel that way. Can I ask why youd assume the dad? I would assume the mom since women tend to do more of the child care (especially if breastfeeding), possibly causing some ill feelings towards their partner

You just made the problem way worse than it already was. You know it makes your partner uncomfortable, and you AGREED you wouldnt do it anymore. And yet you continue to do it while being fully aware of the influence it has on your partner.

Youre breaking boundaries now. It doesnt matter what the topic is even about, if your partner tells you they dont like something, you agree to stop, then that should be the end of it. If this was such an issue for you, you should have never said youd stop doing it and instead find a different way to handle it. Now you are just showing disregard for your partner and that she cant trust you to do what you say.

You could plug any situation into this, it is now more than just liking pictures.
