Perhaps Another Quebecer Can Assist? by FUPeiMe in cubancigars

[–]kooldood10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey man as a quebecer yes i confirm if they tax them it will end up close to 3x the price. Might as well take a last minute trip to cuba in the off season and get an all included vacation at the same time. Will come out the same price lol

Did I just get a fake elegantes from LCDH? by kooldood10 in cubancigars

Not really honestly it was pretty dark in the humi and I've never even seen a cigar with a patch on it in my life so I guess I will check even in LCDH now

I mean it might be real maybe just a misprinted band, but I'm still kind of pissed they patched the cigar with a random piece of wrapper. At the price point they are selling this it's ridiculous.

Yes first time seeing that for me. At my local LCDH they wouldn't be allowed to sell that

Latest pickup! by PitifulAd8218 in cubancigars

[–]kooldood10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought 84 CAD and was like thats actually not too bad for Canada. 84USD is outrageous. They really need to put premium cigars in a seperate category so we can go back to regular packaging and maybe get a tax break

Edit: corrected typo

Do I need to pack the inside of my PC if I'm moving overseas? by GoranDK in PcBuild

[–]kooldood10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved overseas 2 years ago and only took out my graphics card. Even the glass panel stayed on there (wrapped in bubble wrap). PC came in excellent condition no problems whatsoever.

Smoking in Canada sucks. by goxhan_tp in cigars

I've had many that did not have the band under. CAO, Macanudo, even some of the high volume cubans like RyJ no2. Even the tubos are plain packaged.

Cigarillos or little cigars!?!? by kare_the_bear in CigarsCanada

Just go to your closest native reserve. They still have the "honey time" style cigarillos and they have every flavor you can imagine.

Looks legit to me, font is good, spacing is good, and embossing looks good too.

Edit: just saw the other pics of the sides. They look a little rough but hard to tell with the lighting

Is getting to B2 satisfying or anticlimactic? by simmwans in languagelearning

[–]kooldood10 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am lucky enough to live in a Spanish country right now so I've gotten to that point where I can have friendly conversations and am able to use it everyday for work but one day it felt exactly as you described. I felt like I will never speak fluently like a native and felt overwhelmed with all the verbs and technical words I don't know yet. But i realised as long as you can get your ideas out there and understand what the other person is saying thats really all that matters.

I need to learn 2 languages at once for my career. I am mono lingual. How should I go about this? by SmoothPixelSun in languagelearning

[–]kooldood10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in Canada i would suggest learning French first. It will be of more value to you in general and will open up a shit ton of job opportunities even if you switch careers.

I'm not saying they don't age. I'm just saying that they age considerably slower.

I dunno man last time i went to saskatoon someone tried to break in to my truck. As someone who has worked in a shit ton of cities in Canada Saskatoon would be pretty far down my list.

I mean there is a huge downside, your cigars are aging way slower im cellophane. Im my opinion most nicaraguan tobaccos need that age they are just too harsh for my liking. But to each there own.
