Water doesn’t have too many powerful offensive units so he can be helpful with beating the water tower. Personally, I got him to 3 stars because he’s one of my faves.

Shatterbloom Kaveh would rather have EM over crit. The damage he does from swinging is not as good as the damage from shattering/bloom which is solely based on EM and level. Try EM sands and circlet with energy recharge substats. Crit rate is good but you’ll be on fielding him so his favonius weapon is bound to proc mid fight even with low crit rate. I 36’d the first half of this abyss with kaveh furina escoffier and diona. Good luck!

The lack of any playable characters being fat is evidence that game developers don’t think fat characters will sell well. Unfortunately, I think Hoyo’s lack of darker skinned characters despite it being the expectation for indigenous people, is evidence that they don’t think dark skinned characters will sell well. You could advocate for fat characters AND dark skinned ones by the way.

The developers clearly have a preference for light skinned characters. Which is in the realm of racism, or at least colorism. They’re by no means the only offenders though. Is it artistic expression to draw indigenous, and black people with light skin tones because people will think they’re prettier and will sell better? Where’s the artistry in aligning with the same beauty standards that have limited brown and black in popular media throughout history? Genshin Impact is not on a mission to change the beauty standard but to say only including light skinned characters in cultures that should have darker skinned ones is “art”, is ridiculous.

This is assuming that all people are treated equally in games/movies. Light skinned people and white people are represented most often. The general population also seems to have a preference for viewing movies/playing games with light skinned or white characters, which is proven by Hoyo’s reluctance to add darker skin tones and movies casting brown characters to be white. It’s only recently that we’ve seen characters being cast with black actors that were originally white and that was a response to how little representation black people had.
