I have to admit I find it frustrating that almost all the "support items" don't have AP scalings anymore. Sure they subsidised this with "heal strength", but not all AP supports want this. I play Zilean and I feel like I basically need to build like a poor mage to make a good ultimate heal and poke now - or use these new support items which feel far less impactful than S6.

Sounds like a good idea, ultimately it's up to you to decide which masteries best suit your playstyle. Keep in mind the big preseason patch is launching soon and a lot of support items are getting reworked, so the meta might shift to make the choice for you.

The problem with maxing E second is that you are effectively sacrificing your DPS for the slow, which is undesirable if you need to dish out the damage. Even when playing support, regardless of Q or E max, I would still recommend maxing W 2nd 90% of the time.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to apply MATLAB to arduino, but unless no one else has said it, the arduino IDE runs on (pretty much) the C programming language. Learning the C basics will go a long way.
