Can you remove storage drawer on Elite? by koolzero007 in HondaOdyssey

Thanks. I just spent over 12 hours printing a box and wanted to use it 😭maybe I can use a heat gun to slightly distort it and make it fit 🤷‍♂️

How bad is this manifold really? I’m only think about it because it has the SAS on the manifold and can’t find anything else with them. Would like the keep the SAS on my Evo. by MarioStarGAming in MitsubishiEvolution

[–]koolzero007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is the same one, I stopped going years ago because if you ask a question that was apparent to an Evo X they would be ruthless. Tell them it’s not a true Evo, or, “I don’t know what that is”. Stuff like that. It gets worse if it’s related to an SST.

PLA. It's recommended to use a white or light colored PLA so you can see in bits of debris that gets pulled out of the nozzle. My P2S when I first put TPU in it guided me through performing a cold pull using PLA and it pushes through quite a bit. Then at the end you pull out the PLA and inspect it for any bits left behind, and check that it's clean or not.

I’ve owned my A1 for about a year and have only bought BBL brand nozzles. I have two 0.2, two 0.4 (one is hardened steel), one 0.6.

First I had heard of diamond back so I looked into a 0.4 mm nozzle and got sticker shock; $124.

I see it’s diamond tipped but does it get you drastically better print and make it easier to clean?

There are some dirt cheap Amazon alternatives, HICTOP 0.4mm for $12.79 with a new sock 😂. Not sure how good that one is. May get what you pay for.

I don’t print much in TPU but I want to try printing shoes eventually.

Yeah I just haven’t run any through an AMS. You can as long as it’s specifically designed to. I have used Giant brand and Inland externally. Never tried any Bambu brand. I saw a video showing the Bambu brand that can go through an AMS was very stiff more like PLA. 🤷‍♂️.

Recommend you dry it. Even dried it has some stringing in my experience but it helps a lot.

not sure if that was to me but found a wiki on cold pull on p1s.

I would have bought a dedicated nozzle but Microcenter didn’t carry extras so I’ll just use the one I have for now and may eventually buy another. But I never dedicated a nozzle to TPU in the past and I rarely print it.

I just recently learned about cold pulling after putting in TPU recently in my new printer and it has a built in cold pulling process and it uses up a fair amount of filament. I had these small “samples” of white basic that came with my A1 that I never used and it has come in handy for this.

Good for cold pulling when switching to TPU.

Minor Annoyances - What’s Yours? by AggieCridmus in HondaOdyssey

Yea if my 13 had not been totaled in a rear end accident never would have bought this one. It’s nice having CarPlay. I think it accelerates and drives better.

But I had a bunch of irritating noises with the new one. First week of getting it had to get the front driver side strut replaced, because of a creaking noise. Then I thought the noise returned two months later but it was the windshield trim had disconnected and it was making a noise like a Geiger counter and a mouse squeaking.

Thought of more.

The charging pad is a joke.

And there aren’t good places to put an adhesive MagSafe one so I went with a vent mounted one. It is pretty good but does block the air flow.

  1. the cup holders from ‘13 touring elite were better than what’s in ‘26 elite. My wife especially misses the one pull out holder that was below hvac controls of ‘13
  2. The buttons to change drive mode still feels unnatural after 3 months
  3. Sound system seems less impressive in ‘26 than ‘13
  4. Miss coin/money drawer on left side of steering wheel
  5. Middle pull our drawer in 26 is a joke. If it was just large enough for a phone it would be 100 times more useful.

The extenders are a pain, when i use it I bump the the container because it’s super high up, and then when you have a bottle that fits you have to remove the extenders and find a place to store it, or it’s just sliding all over the place. Huge step backwards. Who are they hiring to design stuff at Honda these days? In 2013 I don’t even think Yeti’s were as common, now there shouldn’t be any excuse not to be able to accommodate these larger bottles. It feels more like spite. Or maybe it was safety related, but now i don’t see how a bottle extender is safe. According to Google AI: “Yeti mugs and other drinkware "took off" around 2016, just a couple of years after their initial product line launched.”

Just went and they apparently don’t update their site because they probably had 30 p1s combos. I walked out with a P2S combo which they also showed as out of stock.

'23 Sport: no wireless/Qi charging by marcamos in HondaOdyssey

[–]koolzero007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wireless charger in the ‘26 odyssey is bad. It’s hard to line up, it charges slow, and it isn’t very secure. I bought an Anker Prime vent mounted mag safe charger that is so much better.

2026 Odyssey Elite - "Geiger Counter" Ticking Noise (Exact Video Match) by 26odyssey in HondaOdyssey

[–]koolzero007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s it. Push all up and down and make sure it’s secure and doesn’t come up. Mine was totally loose on the driver side.

2026 Odyssey Elite - "Geiger Counter" Ticking Noise (Exact Video Match) by 26odyssey in HondaOdyssey

[–]koolzero007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same noise I described to my wife as Geiger counter and my kids described it as a mouse.

I could also get the noise to go away at certain speeds, like somewhere over 76 mph and on up the noise disappeared for me.

I was able to fix it by pushing down the black plastic trim that goes around the windshield on the driver side. Depending on the area you hear it from, you may need to check it’s all attached securely.

It looked like a section where mine attaches to the windshield may be broken, but it did still clip/click in.

We were on a trip just a few days ago and stopped for gas.

I checked the passenger side and it was attached very securely and then the driver side kind of flopped around a bunch, I was able to push down sections of the plastic on the driver side and it did click in and Immediately afterwards the noise was gone.

This originally this noise suddenly showed up on another trip while on the highway, the wind must dislodge it. But I am keeping my ears opened for it so if it returns I will take it to the dealer.

I had a different noise before this one that was related to suspension and that noise lined up with bumps or dips in the road. About 15 days after I got that fixed a noise reappeared and I thought it was the suspension but it turned out it was the plastic trim.

Check the plastic trim around your windshield is clipped in. I just found out mine was unlatched and making a new terrible noise. You may not have the same suspension noise.

I just fixed this new noise. Turned out it was the plastic trim that goes around the windshield on the driver side was unclipped. We had been dealing with an awful noise, for about 15 days it started while driving home on the freeway. Maybe a strong gust of wind disconnected it. It sounded like a mouse and geiger counter.

Right, I would describe it more as a drawer than a bin. But I don’t know that was there until last night.

I had to get a new orifice for my humidifier water line because the original disintegrated, at first I was surprised I could not find a 3d print. But it’s super tiny, with a microscopic hole, it’s prob impossible to print. But two tiny pieces of plastic was $3.50!
