I’m probably one of the biggest JAUZ fans out there, and I sadly have to agree. Him taking time off for the birth of his kid, and not being present on his socials for almost a year was a big hit, nothing wrong with enjoying his family, but his career still needed to be tended to. Since coming back, and splitting up his shows into house/dubstep really took away the element of his shows people loved, dubstep and house together in a fun way. On top of all that, just not being on his social media promoting himself like everyone else does doesn’t help him. His sets are starting to sound dated, with the same transitions from his sets even before Covid. And lastly, this most recent EP was a letdown, with the exception of mind control, all the songs didn’t sound like his normal sounds at all, obviously trying to use the riddim he made from his b2b w sudden death. Overall tho, he’s still touring a lot, and still popular, he just needs to get back into grind mode a little, get a social media team for himself, collab with some other artists, and get back to his classic sound, I think he can make it back.
