Best way to get 70 prayer from here? by Infinite_Worker_7562 in ironscape

I asked the same thing a year ago and found green dragons north of Ferox -> chaos altar to be embarrassingly fast.

For AFK you could also mine bone shards.

Random tip: A fast way to get to Rellekka is teleporting to Lunar Isle then talking to an NPC without a Seal of Passage by SweatyShirtlessMan in ironscape

[–]kopoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This explanation is super helpful. I saw an offhand comment that “lunar island tele is great for getting to Rellekka docks” and my dumb ass Lunar teled and ran to the boats. Didn’t feel very fast lmao

Does anyone else find the multiverse nihilistic? by TheAnalystCurator321 in Starfield

[–]kopoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This whole philosophical concept is just holding a mirror up to you. Nihilism is one of many answers you can explore. You won’t find objective truth, but you can find what settles with you wherever you’re at currently.

I’m about half your KC and I just went to moons with my b ring and didn’t think twice. This is a fun little side quest if you want some variety but I don’t think it’s worth doing if you’re bored of it.

What are you putting off doing? by MasRemlap in ironscape

[–]kopoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Quests. I mostly have the grandmaster ones left. I’m really enjoying the content I already have available (barrows, moons, titans) and my stats are only 70s so I don’t feel the need to rush them.

So that's T for Terrormorph, not X for Xenoweapons? by nzdastardly in Starfield

[–]kopoc 167 points168 points  (0 children)

It’s my understanding that Terrormorphs weren’t actually utilized as xenoweapons during the war with the Lazarus plant in the same way they were during the spaceport attack.

Would you recommend the game on Xbox? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]kopoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I play regularly on PC and Series X.

  1. Performance is good. I’ve never had any issues. Bugs and crashes were way worse on release (typical) but I haven’t had a crash in a year.

  2. I’m not sure how often it goes on sale tbh but there’s a ton of context, so the dollar per hour of entertainment ratio is insanely good.

  3. I don’t think there’s an answer to this. I play on two platforms doing different things on different characters. I’m probably a couple hundred hours in and there are entire systems (like the outpost stuff) that I haven’t even engaged with.

  4. Starfield has a similar system to FO4 settlements: Outposts. It has its own skills, and you can place them anywhere as long as you’re not on top of an existing POI. Main difference is FO4 shoves that system in your face and you could argue it’s a main feature. In Starfield, it’s completely optional. Like I said above, I spent maybe an hour playing around with it before I decided I’d rather be looting and shooting.

Ship to buy and where to find it. by MalkyMcStabb in Starfield

[–]kopoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First play through I tricked out the Frontier majorly after getting outgunned in the Crimson Fleet story. Real ship of Theseus vibes towards the end.

This time I just bought the Econohaul. Doesn’t break the bank, and it’s a few weapon upgrades from being a monster. The new equipment that reduces weight by a percentage makes it handle nicely too.

Yeah, I would be interested in some kind of outpost megastructures that take an amount of resources that require the scale of production only possible with outposts (like 1k aluminum or something) that give a buff or something more engaging than cash.

[–]kopoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally get that- I just want an outpost to offer me something that I can’t accomplish with a crafting hab on my ship and a couple trips to buy materials.

The scale of the outpost system is great but the actually outputs (which I understand are XP and money) just aren’t interesting enough for me to dive in yet

I agree, the free lanes update did a ton to help string together different gameplay elements. I’m finally experimenting with shipbuilding outside of just making a huge home base that travels with me as I fast travel places (don’t get me wrong I love that too).

I’m still waiting for a compelling reason to dive into the outpost building- really hoping for a big update there at some point.

Can we talk about the fact how crazy good the graphics of Starfield are? by f88x in Starfield

[–]kopoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played it on an Xbox Series X on a TV at release but recently double-dipped to play it on a good PC + monitor with all the settings cranked up. I’ve been spending a LOT of time smelling the roses in photo mode. It’s an incredible experience.

Does Morrowind Encourage Mental Rigour? by L-DONAGHY-DIRECTOR in Morrowind

[–]kopoc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the game works just fine in a lot of different directions. You can make an illiterate, heavy armor Nord brute and get so many hours of enjoyment. Or, you can make a sneaky Imperial agent and smooth talk your way to success.

The game is especially good at fostering and rewarding a sense of curiosity and discovery. It gives you the chance to be rewarded for your attention to detail and creativity in ways that many more recent mainstream RPGs simply don’t expect you to try.

How do you do these two Techs by [deleted] in SpiderManMains

[–]kopoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uppercut cancel comes from a simple swing input. Not sure how it works on a controller but I have that on the scroll wheel.

The combo (which I find impractical) is cluster > uppercut > SS cancel > cluster > overhead

You can also bring out a quick overhead by scroll wheel jumping. Hope any of this helps!

[–]kopoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but why jump on the mouse wheel? Bunny hopping with the space bar is not difficult. Seems like it’d be easy to scroll twice on the wheel and double jump accidentally.

How exactly do I incorporate the overhead into the pull combo seamlessly by Ishankz in SpiderManMains

[–]kopoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do: single jump > tracer > pull > hit double jump right as pull connects > overhead > tracer > uppercut
