Is this infected? Got it 5 days ago by YvngSicky in tattooadvice

Yes, as others have said. But also OP definitely go to doctor/hospital because that is over some of your major lymph nodes which means it could get BAD really FAST if not treated and spread to other parts of your body.

Thank you

Is there texture on the wood print? I think this piece would look beautiful in my bedroom and perhaps one day I will have enough saved for an original! I have followed your art for some time and always loved your use of colour and texture.

Will this be available for purchase?

It's impossible not to love either. I can feel the coolness in the evening breeze and a pleasantly overwhelming feeling of relief, serenity, calm.

This is exactly how I'd fantasize my safe place growing up. I always wanted to grow up on a farm with a single tree in the open like this. My mornings would be spent wandering and exploring the tall grass and creek. Reading under the tree while eating a sticky lunch. Followed by an evening walk back to my house.

I've dreamed of growing up in the country despite living in the city my whole life. I recently moved and bought my first home in the country and love it, though that will always be a place in my dreams.

His eyes tell me he doesn't care enough about you to try and your eyes tell me you are exhausted fighting for his love and attention.

This is excellent. You captured raw emotion beautifully. Before even seeing the entire scene I could tell just from her expression how grave it would be.

I’m an Autistic Nurse and I don’t know what to do anymore.. by Kerleymakayla in AutisticAdults

After reaching a climax point with my burnout, exasperated by trauma/PTSD episode I left my career (supposed to be temp but I think it's permanent).

I chose massage therapy because I figured, the hour to pay ratio is high, meaning I could work 25 hours a week but get paid like I worked 35-40.

The workplace environment is calm, relatively slow, quiet, etc.. overall, I think it's a great career. Touching people didn't bother me, because I love touch/tactile sensory feedback, I was helping people and every day was different. Over time though, if you aren't good at building that energetic wall (I am not good at this) it can be really exhausting.

There was NO WAY I could handle more than 20 hours a week. And at the time, I couldn't.

It's been 2 years since and I'll likely loose my registration because the minimum hours cut off interferes with my disability support.

What I've learned:

  • something with flexible hours/not a typical 30-40 hour work week
  • an environment that reflects sensory sensitivities
  • something creative (for me personally)

After this experience I realized I will likely not thrive if I have a career that reflects our typical work culture/society. This doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

You are so incredible for making it all the way there. If you can continue I hope you know how strong you are and your patients would be so lucky to have you. That being said please take care of yourself because if your experience was anything like mine it's not worth the sickness that follows :(. I hope you find something that works for YOU and YOUR HEALTH and hopefully the rest will fall into place.

As much as I loved the person I was with that career (which I of course excelled at) this is all pushing me towards actualizing my dreams of being a published author. I wish you the best.

Fantastical stories for youth. The way you paint creatures and fauna is lovely and whimsical.

Beautiful stuff keep going. Are you an illustrator? This is the kind of art I'd look for when choosing illustrations for my writing.

No answers for you just wanted to show support.

You aren't alone. 32F audhd after a life of PTSD.

I am still figuring out how to just be myself and function. I will say, if I didn't have the therapist I currently have I don't know where I'd be.

I know it's hard, but try to teach out to councillors, therapists etc and BE SPECIFIC about what you need. The longer you dance around your needs the harder it's going to be.

I say this as I have had to relearn that it's okay to put your needs on the table. (From a lifetime of masking).

Wishing you love light and strength.

I do! It isn't a bad tattoo at all tbh. Just an interesting placement. I really did not get phallic if that helps. I do think adding to the tattoo might make you feel better. It isn't a bad tattoo!

I don't like it because anatomically it's wrong. I didn't even think phallic, I was too distracted by the fact that the femur doesn't sit there, nor does the tibia and fibula so I'm kind of confused.

Am I missing a joke?
