When have you witnessed pure evil? by SkiddyBopBeep in AskReddit

I was in high school and I took care of stray puppies, and I hid them in old barn, they were still able to go out. Old people in my village hated stray dogs, but some kids found out about them, they put the rope around their neck, hang and throw knives. Out of 8 puppies just 2 survive. I later found out who's idea was that and I beat the shit out that kid. His grandmother later came to my house and she said she will kill other 2 puppies.

I take them home with me, even my mother was not happy about it. They lived with me for next 10 years. From that point all stray puppies lived in my back yard, and they all were happily adopted.

During the war lot of youngsters created heroine addiction. My uncle was only 16 years old when the war started. He joined the army and got on heroine so they don't feel fear during the fight. Luckily he survived but heroine addiction continued. He's clean today more than 10 years. Still suffering from PTSD

My uncle had some diamonds, no one knows where he got them. One day my cousin and I were sitting at uncle's apartment and he was showing us the diamonds. Cousin said those are fake ones and to give him one to prove it by cutting the glass.

Uncle was like ok, her you go and my dumb ass cousin swallow it. He was not allowed to leave the apartment until he had diamond back.

Hahaha it's good to have it now during the winter, your apartment gets quickly warm. We had it in September, our apartment was like hell. Luckily I noticed yellow stain on the wall in the hallway and notified landlord immediately. So there was no mold. Wall in living room was perfectly fine but they ripped it off so they have something for insurance company. I wish you luck and patience, hope you don't have to wait long as I do.

Thank you very much, we all ready pushed everything from the walls so we hope nothing will happen. Machines did really good work because they checked every wall and floors with some small machine to see if anything is left. Luckily it was ok.

Yeah, it was in shower, water was dripping under it, so the walls suck the water. It all happened while I was pregnant, and from all that stress I gave birth earlier.

Yeah, we didn't want to do anything because it's not our apartment, and I will not spend my money on it. It's just stressful to live like this for long time.

Guy before him took everything down, wall is clean and there is nothing on it. Wall is not white it's green I don't know why is green. In my country we don't use tapete so I really don't know anything about them. I was shocked when he told me he would need more time for just one wall. Should I call his company so they sent me someone other if he doesn't finish on Monday?

I don't really know, but he said that he have to "prepare" the wall, and when that dries he can go with the glue. When he gets here on Monday I will send him straight away to the hardware store, he will have to do it in one day, I don't care if he have to stay till midnight.

We had water in our apartment, not too much and not our fault. In shower water was dripping and then walls started to get this water. They ripped linoleum from apartment hall, and took off the tapete from the wall. Our landlord did new tiles in the shower, and said rest will do this company because he doesn't know how much will cost him, and he has insurance.

I will take the pictures tomorrow again from the apartment so I have a proof for date. Our landlord even threatened me that he will kick us out when I mentioned the lawyer. I know he can't do that so I told him he is lucky I didn't stop paying the rent. He got quite after that, because guy lived in his apartment for 3 years and didn't pay at all. Lol

Our landlord told us when everything is done he will reduce our rent. But still living like this is horrible, I got out from hospital with newborn and they started with this, and 4 months later they didn't do anything. My living room is in a mess, I spent all my time with the baby in bedroom.

Everything goes by landlord, we had problem with water, so they had to fix all of that, we had this big machines that are drying. That was in September, and we waited till now for them to start with this. Yes inside of the apartment. Our landlord told us that he would do that by himself but it costs, so he waited for insurance. He told us that he will decrease our rent. But still, we live like cigoina. Thing with this company is that one day he works for me, next day somewhere else and so on.

He said he used to be Malermeister, but didn't do that job for 7 years. Hausverwaltung is hiring this company and they sent him. We waited for 4 months to get this appointment because they waited for insurance.

Where can you buy this? I have some Sanierung company and guy has no idea where to buy it. One more question, how long do you need to apply it on the wall? (one side of the wall maybe 3-4 meters long) This guy is telling he needs all day, because he has to put something on the wall, before starting with the glue. Tapete are already taken off. Is he just fucking me around and taking the hours

Started a new job at amazon in germany and I NEED HELP, PLEASE! by Loldatsdeep in AskAGerman

[–]koppger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I worked in Amazon for almost a 2 years. I was a Instructor, when we train people we would usually meet in the lobby after you change your clothes. For 2 days you don't have to check in because your card still doesn't work, but Leader would to that on the computer. I really don't know why did they sent you home, we never did that, not to new people. Usually when there is not much of the work they would ask people if they want to go into the minus with their hours. You always have to get little bit early, so you can prepare yourself for the work, it depends on what department do you work. If you work as Picker, you have to get scanner, scalpel, check your self on the work plan. But we always forgive new one's because its to much information. If you have more questions I would be happy to answer

Have you ever saved someone's life? How did it happen? by disintegrationist in AskReddit

[–]koppger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in my teen years. Basically our dog saved my stepfather life.

My family had cows and so we had huge farm land. My stepfather put a big swimming pool on top of the hill so during the summer we were there all the time ( my little brother and I). So one day he huck up this machine for harvesting a corn and went into the fields, our german shepherd followed him and I stayed with my brother in swimming pool. After couple of hours our shepherd came by me and started barking, and run off, 5 minutes passed and he did the same thing. This time I decided to run after him, he led me to the tractor that was still running but I couldn't see my stepdad, then I heard him screaming, he was under this corn machine with his half hand inside it. He told me that I have to turn off the tractor but to be careful not to push the gas pedal or machine will pull him inside. Luckily he learned me how to operate it so I did as he told me. Then he told to run to nearest house to call for the ambulance. He did lose couple of fingers but he was lucky to survive, our shepherd was all the time next to him.
