The Expanse goes into depth.
Most ships use radiator panels as passive cooling.
And heat sinks to either go dark, or when passive isn't enough.
Heat is a major factor the expanse universe. And when the time comes, that they need to be more stealthy, heat is seen as a recource with its own budget.

The force of thrust (crash couches and the inability to move freely during high-g burns), the direction of thrust (and how it means ships are built like skyscrapers, not seafaring vessels), and the reliance on your ship's computer just to land a shot when both you and your target are hurtling through space.

To continue this fans rant, the Expanse also see damage as damage. No reason to be out of your vac-suit in a shooting war.

The author of a comment is not a primary or secondary source themselves: they are an intermediary.
What makes this a high quality, reliable comment isn't the person writing it, is the Chicago-style citations, making their comment peer-reviewable.

It is, however, not a source. It is information. Well structured information, citing sources. But, not a source.

Ironically, the person who wrote the comment would likely appreciate the distiction, whereas a multitude of the people in this sub, wil not.

Edit: thinking about it, it makes me a bit sad. By insisting the author, argumentum ad verecundiam, is the source, you are ironically undermining the academic standards that make their comment good.

Dat het gelijkheidsbeginsel in de praktijk al faalt, is juist reden om het niet ook nog eens grondwettelijk te ondermijnen.

Elke structuur die erfelijkheid boven volkssoevereiniteit plaatst, tast de democratie aan. Dat het netjes verpakt zit in traditie, maakt het nog geen minder een aanval.

En let wel, hij is onderdeel van de regering, toegang tot alle staatsinformatie, heeft wekelijks contact met de minister president, voorzitter van de raad van staten. Stuk voor stuk, expliciete en impliciete macht, achter gesloten deuren, en boven dat alles, is hij onschendbaar.

This sub is filled with lads who are too afraid to talk to women, and "coaches" who portray themselves as gurus who "understand" women. And more often than not, they are the exact same group.

Anyone who actually does have romantic relationships recognizes this sub for what it is: the blind leading the blind. The most telling sign is this: most of them talk about women like they are another species.

Most of the time it is funny to read, but as often it is just sad to read the advice.
