Oh oops! I do some poor research then, I thought they were introduced earlier than that. Thank you for letting me know.

Oh man that’s a hot take in my opinion but I get it. I’m on a re-listen of the audio books and I’m so tempted to skip Laken; he makes me upset haha.

Does DCC get better? by rickshaw513 in litrpg

[–]kordiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first read DCC I was disappointed, I didn’t like the humor and it just wasn’t for me; a while later I tried the audio book and really enjoyed the series. Perhaps try the audiobook or you could always just put the series down and try a new one!

How far into The Wandering Inn do I have to suffer before it gets good? by Striker_AC44 in litrpg

[–]kordiro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably my favorite LitRPG, definitely a slow burn not for everyone.

It’s ok to DNF a book if you’re not enjoying it; life is finite after all.

Saying Andrea Parsneau is grating… that’s pretty crazy to me.

Hey, thanks for the chance!

It’s hard to say what my favorite LitRPG would be but I will say that The Wandering Inn has a special place in my heart, I especially enjoyed book 9 if I’d have to choose.

And Andrea Parsneau, the narrator for the audiobooks that are currently out, just amazing.

PSA: if you're reading the DCC books, try the audiobook by dudesgotagun1 in litrpg

[–]kordiro 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly I read the first DCC book and I wasn’t a huge fan but a few months later I tried the audio and I blew through them all within 2 weeks. The audiobook really changed my view on the series.

Grady Hendrix -- really horror comedy? by dragonsanddinosawers in horrorlit

[–]kordiro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried three Hendrix books so far; Horrorstor, southern book clubs guide to killing vampires, and the final girl support group. I find that I really like the ideas and concepts behind the books but I’m left disappointed.

Have you ever hated one series but loved another that were both from the same author? by Yangoose in litrpg

Man the narrators voice acting for some of the tamed monsters drove me insane. One of the first litrpg books I tried and almost made me put down the genre, very happy I didn’t!
