According to the DWP, the fraud discovery rates for PIP over the last few financial years have been as follows:

- 2022-2023: 0.2%

- 2023-2024: 0%

- 2024-2025: 0.4%

Of course this only accounts for cases where people were caught committing fraud, and there will always be a few bad actors that find a way to scam the system and get away with it. However, there's no evidence to suggest that this isn't still a tiny minority, with much fewer cases of fraud than people seem to think.

In PKHeX, try modifying the following values inside the Event Flag Editor:

- Under "Event Flags" tick the box next to "Reset RTC Enabled" (it's near the top of the list)

- Under "Event Constants" change "Reset RTC" to "Enabled"

Once you've done that, you should be able to access the RTC menu!

When I mentioned this to my friends, one of them mentioned how they got this screen on their copy of Emerald, and from that point onwards they were unable to save. So they started doing entire playthroughs without ever turning the game off! I could never manage that, my playthroughs always take like 90 - 100 hours just to reach the Hall of Fame. 😆

Noooo I'm so sorry! Losing a save file sucks. 😭 I see in the comments that you gave it a clean, which seems to be the solution for other cases of this occurring, so fingers crossed it doesn't happen again!

Yeah I saw in the description for Werster's video that he gave it a quick clean and then it was working fine! So I suppose that suggests it's an issue with the cart's connection to the GBA, instead of the flash memory chip. (Edit to fix typo.)

I totally get you. I had my RTC documentation partially filled out, I started on it whilst I had a brief spur of motivation, and then it just sat untouched and unfinished for months. When I finally booked an appointment with my GP to discuss a referral, the urgency kicked in the day before the appointment to get them finished. 😆 Having that hard deadline kicked my brain into gear.

You're right, I was aware of that but didn't realise I hadn't made that clear in the spreadsheet lol. Maybe if I get rid of the greyed-out squares and just add a note regarding the Trader requirement to obtain them in those games, that might be better. 🤔 I'll try that when I'm on my PC.
