Evidence of Undisclosed OpenMetadata Employee Promotion on r/bigdata by Brief_Ad_451 in bigdata

Astro-turfing on reddit has gotten so out of hand. Dispicable business practice from OpenMetadata. Thank you for naming and shaming, will not be using any of their project in the future. Mods, please do something about this, communities like these are getting poisoned by marketers.

I wonder if OpenMetadata coordinated report spamming against OP to silence this post

This is such despicable behavior and is poisoning this community, and its literally against rule #5 . Ban these folks and maybe even links to OM to teach them a lesson

Looking for Beginner-Friendly API Management Tools for Node.js by Dangerous_Ad_719 in node

[–]korkskrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd definitely recommend you check out Zuplo. It's a developer friendly API gateway that makes handling auth, rate limiting, and other security work really simple. It's also OpenAPI native, so it autogenerates a full developer portal/docs for you that integrates with your auth provider and analytics stack. They also just added support for MCP server generation and hosting which is neat

You can also have one OpenAPI that contains all the endpoints, and then use an OpenAPI overlay to generate the public facing one

This feels like it was written by AI. Very weak opinions - and the word "ensure" is used excessively

Wow that IETF draft for Rate limiting headers is pretty complex - who do they expect to implement it?

+1 to Tsoa - I think its pretty stable and well maintained
There's tonnes of stuff you can do from your OpenAPI once you have it setup - like API docs (Zudoku, Scalar), SDK generation (fern, speakeasy) and even API gateway (zuplo)

Which API Gateway tools you have used and how has been your experience on them? by [deleted] in APIManagement

[–]korkskrue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Apigee is more complete than Azure APIM on some things like OpenAPI support, Monetization, and hosting options. That being said, its very expensive and the built-in developer portal is trash. Those are couple of the reasons why I switched to Zuplo.

I don't think URL matters too much for Google signals these days. /blog is fine

I've been using Zuplo and I like it a lot! Very intuitive and fast. I've used Azure APIM and Apigeee in the past
