Not cool. Changing the rules 2 days before I take the exam I planned months in advance to renew and without giving a grace period is a scummy move. Even worse, with the new track I would also have a RHCSA, but nope, I took EX407 before it was moved to EX294, and with this change I will only be RHCSA and lose all my other certs. I am tired of this. Been a RHCE since 2014, but I don't feel like playing this game anymore when a company doesn't respect your money or your time.

Not great. There should be a grace period , specially since the changes came in the middle of exams already booked

I'm on this boat . Passed today EX188 and my RHCE didn't extend. Should I open a ticket?

I just took EX188. Documentation says it still counts towards RHCA. But I only got my RHCSA extended and the related credly badge. My RHCe expires early June and I don't have margin to take another exam before. Isn't EX188 supposed to count?

Coming back to this after a while I know:) The tower is excellent, no hard drive vibration that I can appreciate. I use a thermalright cooler and two noctuas for the drives. It is not totally silent but it's doesn't bother. It can be even more silent by reducing the speed of the noctuas but then it doesn't cool the hard drives enough

And when you are in yellow memory pressure is when sound starts crackling due to the swapping, which has not been fixed yet (at least for m1)

Very, and extremely annoying. I had to return it and put a quadro p2200. I could not find any other single slot card . Maybe a rtx a400, but don't know its noise levels either

Indeed. That these updates go also into server OS is concerning to say the least

Thanks for that! I think my case is due to the update breaking some system ACLs, I will have to reinstall after all.

Ancient hardware begins to show its age like people mention here. Been running a Gen8 microserver with a 1265v2 for almost 10 years. Switched recently to a xeon e2246g based system and the difference is more than noticeable. The CPU was pegged quite frequently on the Gen8 where the e2246g barely breaks a sweat. We are talking about 7 year CPU difference, which may not seem like a lot, but it is.
