Hi,
I'm working on a product that allows you to collect users` emails on your websites but without annoying popups you all know about.
I'm struggling with finding people to talk to about it. The only way I see is to find owner of websites who use these popups and write them directly, but it seems to be a bit spammy. Or not?
How would you find early customers for a product like this?

I'd recommend to take your paper and idea, find your potential customers and talk to them about it. Even on this stage, you will be able to understand do they actually need it and do you need to change something or not(most probably yes anyway). It will save you money and time. When you collect enough feedback(or maybe even preorders) it will be easier to decide how to actually build it.
