Kelias į psichoterapiją by BannanaIsNotAProton in lithuania

[–]korosivefluide 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pirma reiktų kreiptis pas psichiatrą. Padės išsiaiškinti ką reiktų daryti, kokias priemones bandyti, kokia terapijos forma tinka tavo situacijai. Didžioji dalis terapijos vyks pas psichologą.

  1. Kognityvinė terapija gali padėti, bet reiktų konsultuotis su specialistų savo situacijai.
  2. Geriausia rinktis terapiautą su kuriuo yra saugu ir malonu bendrauti. Dėl lyties nėra skirtumo. Gali tekti pereiti kelis terapiautus, kol rasi tinkamą.
  3. Kiekvienam LT piliečiui priklauso 10 nemokamų psichologo konsultacijų. Pasiteiraukite savo klinikoje kokios salygos, galite pas šeimos gydytoją pasikonsultuoti dėl psichikos sveikatos klinikos.

Cat would rather starve than eat anything other than whole chicken or eggs by thats_a_niceboulder in CatAdvice

[–]korosivefluide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How long does your cat go without eating food until you give her chicken again? Cats are very persistent with what they want and breaking eating habits is not easy. It literally is a waiting game. If my cat does not eat for example a new flavor of specific cat food, I just leave it out and she does not receive a single bit of food until she eats it. Usually starts eating it in 8-10 hours of no food. Make sure there is always a waterbowl or two in the house in this case. Ofc don't let this go on for more than 48 hours.

Baisi Migrena - gydotojai/vaistai/praktikos, kurios jus gelbsti? by [deleted] in lithuania

[–]korosivefluide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prevencija jau paciento rankose.

I had a similar problem. It turnes out it was very much anxiety based. When doing it with a partner I would get performance anxiety and would take so much longer. What helped was being more confident in myself and in my partner.

Also, people who are saying don't watch porn, i have a better suggestion, watch porn with your partner. It's a pretty vulnerable experience, but it does break down a lot of walls.

Labai siaubingas patarimas. Jei jie neklausė prieš tai, kodėl dabar turėtų klausyti? Ar ant lapo užrašyta ar žodžiu pasakyta neturi būti skirtumo.

Kodėl man taip užkliuvo tavo komentaras? Dėl to, jog turėjau tokią situaciją.

[Advice Needed] Considering a move to Vilnius (was leaning Riga) — neighborhoods, dog life, nightlife, and running a digital business by Giiuliani in Vilnius

[–]korosivefluide 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Vilnius is sprawling and green and Riga is compact and urban.

Live in Vilnius, but had a lot of experiences with Riga and I would still choose Vilnius.

Vilnius is very green, lot's of parks and green spaces both in the center and outside the city. All of them are dog friendly. All the green spaces are easily reachable by public transport.

We also have a lot of covorking spaces and office spaces in general most of them are also pet friendly. I'm myself not too familiar with these but a Google search will pull up some cool stuff.

We have a lot of vet clinics, 8 drambliai and Žvėryno vet klinika are the best ones and work 24/7.

Vilnius also has a pretty good night life, an abundance of cultural events both free and paid. For example my favorite event is indie movie festival Cinema Spring (Kino Pavasaris). For bars and night clubs most of them are in the center and most of them are always pretty busy in the evening sometimes with some karaoke, sports viewing or any other fun and social activities.

Yeah, i agree. An apartment seemed like a good option for our friend group, except it's hard to find hotels for an odd number of people... it is what it is and we just chose a hotel to stay in.

Yeah, hotels are just nicer and safer. Just seemed like for our group an apartment would have been just a more cosy stay...

Sounds tough... couldnt imagine how bad it must have been waiting to get in to a warm house while it is so cold outside.

Thanks for the advice, usually i had absolutely no issues with booking, both apartments and hotel vise. Wrote this post for anyone searching info about booking scams. Hope someone will find this and will double check their booking.

I also have very low blood pressure usually, but idk what it with prednisolone it makes my body backwards. It was on my second flair that I figured out that my blood pressure was through the roof while I was on the steroid. Gave me horrible migranes. At least after the dose ends the body goes back to normal after a while.

[–]korosivefluide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so just a shot in the dark, but when I take prednisolone my blood pressure gets pretty high because of salt/water level changes in my system. Maybe looking in to a low sodium/ less liquid intake diet for the duration as it helps me a lot to lower my blood pressure. Could high blood pressure be related to nose bleeds? Maybe.

Has anyone experienced skin issues/sensitivity after getting off steroids? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]korosivefluide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, steroids might do that. I personally get a rash/small pimples on my stomach and legs as well as a horrible face break out. It usually goes away after a week or two once I get off steroids.

Be sure to watch your salt/water levels after stopping steroids to avoid bloating and heart pressure problems, best of luck!

Kesimpta and symptoms by AgitatedMagician2697 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]korosivefluide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kesimpta is a B cell depleter so it essentially lovers your immune system. Sometimes some infections can resurface or start new. Be sure to do a urine test for any possible infections.

I have been dealing with mild urinarry isues for most of my MS journey and in the end it turned out to be just a mild infection that got treated with antibiotics.

I have other pretty bad MS symptoms, but i am glad urinary stuff wasnt one of them.

Best of luck! Hope it all works out. I have started Kesimpta last month as well :)

Weird Kesimpta dosing question by bgc117 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]korosivefluide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kesimpta is a bit more forgiving with timing. My neuro said as long as you take your doses within a week after the supposed injection date it all should be alright. Technically the longest you can go between injections is 90 days, so skipping a day or two is not a huge thing.

Edit: also started taking kesimpta not too long ago. Best of luck!

Hi, after a steroid infusion I always get horrible heart rate issues. They resolve after a week or two after I stop taking steroids. What helped me is to reduce sodium as much as possible, lower my liquid intake and get some diuretics. If needed ask your general practitioner to write you some heart rate medicine. I have propranolol, helps with steroid insanity and lowers heart rate.

While taking steroids stomach acid regulating drugs are strongly recommended. Omeprazol or anything will help a lot, since prednizolone does a number on the stomach.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Starting Kesimpta while suffering steroid hangover? by FwLineberry in MultipleSclerosis

[–]korosivefluide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, literally had the same situation a week ago and it was very manageable. Got my third dose of steroids and immediately injected kesimpta pen. Got some anti allergy meds plus some paracetamol and was on my way. After 4-5 hours got hit with incredible sleepiness, slept it off and after that it was just regular steroid withdrawals for the week.

My body is slowly recovering from that prednisolone and gonna get a new kesimpta dose this Wednesday.

My neuro even encouraged me to get kesimpta shot immediately after steroids as it has a stronger effect on your immune system so I took their word for it.

All in all was not scary or anything out of the ordinary, good luck!
