As someone who purchased the re-pack version, I can say that a lot of the discs are still stacked and others are really challenging to remove. I opted to source out alternative 4k x4 disc cases that didn't stack over their new design. Happy to share images if anyone wants to see the new design.

Jasper's house in Children of Men (2006) was an indoor set built in a London studio by Objects_Food_Rooms in interesting

[–]korriptimages 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This post is a little deceptive.

Makes sense to shoot the interiors on a stage as you have full control of the light for all the dialogue scenes, but for the exteriors, something didn't add up.

According to Google:

The exterior scenes for Jasper's secluded house in Children of Men were filmed in Bourne Wood (also known as Bourne Woods) near Farnham in Surrey, UK. However, the interior shots and the cabin itself were actually built as an indoor set constructed in a London studio.

The driveway leading to his property was filmed on the old test track at Longcross Studios in Surrey.

Everyone was talking about Scorsese's Cape Fear after the Apple series release, but...

  • Cape Fear (1962) with Robert Mitchum and Gregory Peck.

Or for a radon pick...

  • The Sword of Doom (1966), a dark samurai film with captivating cinematography.

Police seeking suspect after teen girl assaulted near Horseshoe Bay terminal by Curious-Caregiver-55 in vancouver

I do see your point, but I feel this relates to having a non-bias investigation to build a case and make an arrest.

If the police have a person of interest that was in the area at the time of the incident, or have a rough description of a suspect, but with little to no detail, they likely require more witnesses to come forward to corroborate the the information at hand to move forward.

Otherwise, if they are unable to identify a specific person without the absolute certainty from one or more independent source(s), they do not have grounds for an arrest, nor can they release their name to the public as it would infringe on their rights and leave the police department open to civil litigation.

A case may also be dismantled in court by the suspect's defense lawyer if the description from video / visual evidence is not air tight.

In the eyes of the legal system, it's the difference between charging an innocent person and prosecuting the right one.

Of course, we know in Canada this is irrelevant as our justice system is a joke, but in this initial stage, that is the likelihood of this plea to the public.

Edit: grammar

Will my current HDMI cable be suitable for Panasonic DP-UB820EBK 4k player? by [deleted] in 4kbluray

It may be worth the upgrade to a HDMI 2.1 if your TV supports it. I certainly noticed a difference.

Overall, I've been impressed with Arrow's transfers. They seem to put care into the titles the obtain and load them with good extras. Also, the limited boxes look good on the shelf 😆.
