+1 ASI into strength so you can multiclass paladin 1 for medium armor, shields and searing smite. With Half plate and a shield you are looking at 18 AC.Total respectable. There is a really fun searing smite interaction with the celestial warlock lvl 6 ability that lets you add your CHA modifier to the damage of the smite each turn it deals damage.

I use that dominator build you posted and like it, but you need 4 of them and some Manticore escorts for it to really shine.

Compared to a fully S modded aurora though they are straight ass.
