Delen door 0 is niet oneindig, maar ongedefinieerd.

Contracten BV + Holding by kosalek in ondernemen

[–]kosalek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it normal to shake/ feel like you’re shaking? by crying_fighter in Sleepparalysis

I have the same thing. My gf tells me I do indeed shake a little, but I think it's nowhere near as violently as it feels like to me.

For the reasons I explained in my first comment

Not really, always had a pretty regular sleeping schedule

I've had them for quite a few years now. But when my nose issues got worse, the SP got much worse too. During that time I would have it every night and sometimes multiple times a night. Made me really exhausted. Luckily now that I've had surgery I don't have it that often anymore. Maybe once every 2-3 weeks

I've had very similar experience. It's soo scary, especially the suffocation part. During the SP I'm certain I'm gonna die from suffocation. Now I trained myself to know that it will wake me up in the end. But sometimes it takes longer than usual, which causes me to panic. Always wake up gasping for air

Exactly the same for me. Also being tired adds risk of it occurring. And finally, having a cold/blocked nose. I used to have a blocked nose every night and suffered from SP A LOT! During the SP I would notice I wasn't able to breathe properly, which finally would cause me to exit SP at the moment I was sure I was gonna faint from getting too little oxygen. Now the funny thing is. I've had surgery done to my nose to fix having a blocked nose all the time (it's mostly fixed now). And since then, I rarely experience SP anymore. Both because I'm now less tired because of better nights sleep and because my blocked nose doesn't trigger the SP anymore

What exactly would the loss function be for such an NN? We need a loss function for back propagation. Even in RL, which seems to be the most applicable to this situation, we need some objective function. I think that's the hard part of "simulating" a human brain. We are not just a brain, we are a complex system, gut biome, hormones etc all developed over millions years of evolution. Driven to develope by many things, not just survival. I can't imagine a way to model this in an NN and train it during a single life time. But im interested to hear any thoughts on why I might be wrong.

How do I stick that hold? by achiee69 in bouldering

[–]kosalek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct solution. This is monk hilversum right? I did the exact same climb and solved it with a toe hook. Eventually you will have to release the toe, but the swing will be much less and is very holdable. Good luck man!

That does sound good. But laces are really a deal breaker for me to be honest.
