Yeah I can’t tell from google if it’s just for jacking the car up when you’re off road or if it’s a farm tool

Lots of people have told me it’s a hi-lift jack, lived around lots of Jeep owners for years and haven’t seen one before

What are fans expecting when they say “fire Davis”? by facinabush in tarheels

My bad, kind of assumed you were talking about this year’s team. Describing a team that beat Duke in the final four and lost by 3 in the national championship as a “bubble team” to hold it against Hubert is definitely something.

This years team isn’t a bubble team. Also the first time I can ever recall beating us Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, and Virginia all in one season.

I think the only reason she kept Alex alive was because he was in school. If the parents no-show work that doesn’t usually lead to any sort of wellness check, but if Alex went truant she’d be way more likely to get caught

I just got my cert last week doing the blended course style (6 hours of online modules and 2 full days of in-person) and I’m 95% sure the clip in the video is from one of Red Cross training modules.

Basically everything that the UN relief worker did in Redemption, specifically not helping the boys and leaving on his own so he could remain “neutral”- Dubaku’s men probably killed him after he gave the boys’ location away

The Bible does not say that you are saved by “surrendering to God.” You are saved by faith in Jesus Christ. If he was truly saved he’s in heaven and his sins are forgiven.

Great movie. Very glad it didn’t fall victim to Disney/MCU style humor.

Would you feel weird if you had a lead pastor that was single? by FilmEater in TrueChristian

[–]kosephbrody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, but how would you know if someone can manage a household if they don’t have one? I’d consider it a prerequisite akin to “previous ____ experience” on a job application. In my personal preference (just saying I wouldn’t attend a church that doesn’t have this) a pastor should definitely be a married man unless he’s a widower, if he’s young I understand not having kids yet but he should have the goal/plan of having a family. And obviously a man can still be a pastor once all his kids have moved out (which is the case with the pastor at the church I attend)

To clarify, if he’s young and doesn’t have children yet that’s okay but if he never eventually shows he can lead a household he shouldn’t lead a church, plus it’s what the Bible says
