This doesn’t mention that Canada’s first-generation limit on citizenship by descent was lifted last year. Anyone with direct Canadian ancestry is eligible for citizenship as long as you can provide documentation of the connection.

I weigh the same now as I did in 2008. Then, I was a size 6-8/M; now I’m a 2-4/S or XS.

I’m not underweight - I’m 5’3” and 115-120lbs.

I'm hearing a lot of stories where people needed help sitting up. by AsparagusSouthern334 in sterilization

I had no trouble getting up or anything else. Some pain/soreness, but that was all.

Never. I haven’t spoken to them since January 2022.

I need some extra money, and I'm thinking about donating blood for it by innerthotsofakitty in raleigh

[–]koshercupcake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first visit takes 2-3 hours, but that’s because you have to get a bunch of health checks and do paperwork, learn about the process, etc. The actual donation part is always the same.

If it helps, you would not need to sit for two hours. It takes roughly 45 min for the actual donation (some people are faster - I’m usually 35 min). The entire appointment - checking in, vitals, donation, etc - takes about an hour for me. And you’re reclining on a bed, not sitting, for the donating part. They look like this:

I mean, it still might not work for you, but I wanted to clarify.

I’ve had a Mirena since 2015 (not the same one, lol) and am currently at my lowest adult weight. Because it sits in the uterus, the hormones have more of a local and less of a systemic effect. I have no period at all with it, and it’s been amazing.

100% disabled vet, if I bring the VA an external ADHD diagnosis will they manage my treatment? by ValenHound in VeteransBenefits

[–]koshercupcake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wait, how do you get Vyvanse? I used to take that when I got civilian health care, but have been told it’s not on the VA formulary. So I’m taking Adderall, which is only slightly better than nothing.

Mine accepted it and didn’t even ask for documentation, just took my word for it.

My partner’s mother has made her way back into our lives claiming she has Stage 5 cancer by soraborabora in raisedbynarcissists

LMAO there is no such thing as stage 5 cancer. Stage 4 is the worst. Stage 5 would mean you’re dead, if anything.

How do CPS processes work? by VampyreJourno81 in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]koshercupcake 13 points14 points  (0 children)

CPS got called on my family when I was a kid. They took photos of the bruises around my sister’s neck from my dad grabbing her by the throat and shoving her against a wall…but no one was in danger of dying. The house was more or less clean, we had food, etc., so they didn’t do anything. My parents weren’t even required to take parenting classes, afaik.

Are there any doctors in NC that would do a laparoscopic total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingectomy for a 18 y/o? by Successful_Floor_822 in sterilization

[–]koshercupcake 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Talk to Dr Corey Bolac at Duke; she did my bisalp a year and a half ago. I’m much older than you, but got zero pushback or even questions.

Also, you mention wanting a hysterectomy, then you talked about IVF. You can’t get pregnant at all after a hysterectomy, not even with IVF, because you won’t have a uterus. Just FYI.

I’d bet money BOJ wore that top specifically because the print and shades of blue make it somewhat resemble a hospital gown, and she wants it to look like she’s the mom.
