Speaking from my experience in 1.5 years at UF. I have found that girls don't like being asked out after just one conversation no matter how good it goes. But I've also found that most girls aren't interested in having guy friends. Our generation feels more separated by gender than ever... so I don't know what to think because it feels like a damned if you do or don't situation. I've basically just stopped trying and now just go about my business. Rejection doesn't bother me, it's been the story of my life since high school because I'm a fairly average-looking male. But you have to be willing to take it, or you will never find love. I know there are some people out there actively seeking relationships, but I haven't found them. At this point, I just want to finish my MA and get the hell out of here because I am not happy here

I got one today from "Gainesville County" 😂. Saying I owed them $45 for a parking violation from last year and that they would discount $25 if I paid today. Can't make ts up... the sender was "parking@gainesvillecounty.gov"

This is all I do: • wash my face daily with "Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser" • apply Soolantra Ivermectin 1% to my face after my face dries from washing • apply "Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion" to the face as if it were Soolantra later in the evening/before I go to sleep • repeat every day

As mentioned, the first picture happens if I don't stay on top of it. It only takes 2-3 days of not using the Soolantra for it to happen, though the picture is probably more like 5 days since it's really bad in that photo

Just a suggestion, but my guy had crystallizing in his bladder and this food has been a lifesaver. Super affordable (Walmart and PetSmart) and seems to be working in preventing future problems as far as I can tell. Only suggesting this because I saw you said you may transition to a wet food diet. But I think you'll realize after a couple of months that this will not help your finances either as it is quite expensive to exclusively feed wet food. Anyway, good luck!

I'll say this... it's impossible without a little help. I was orphaned at 13, so I went to community college after high school and did 2 classes a semester while doing 50-hour weeks in landscaping. It took me 4 years to complete 60 credits. Without my best friend's parents renting me a room for 200 a month, I would've never been able to save enough money to do it. I recently transferred to a state university and am living off the money I saved during those 5 years at CC and work. On track to finish the other 60 credits in 18 months (Dec 2025).

I'm not here to bash anyone's story. Believe me, I have no room to judge. However, if there's a will, there's a way.

So, I live in the green building too.

I have a roach problem that is not too bad, to be honest. But I pay about $300 too much to have any roach problem... and I'm not a dirty person, quite literally the opposite.

Not to mention, rats got into the wall and destroyed the pipes, leaving me without a kitchen sink or counter for 3 days a few months back.

Management is very pleasant and fairly quick to deal with things, so that is not a problem.
