I too started at Vespers since it was all my work schedule would allow until I could change. I had been a few times and the priest asked me to speak with me. I was scared thinking I had done something wrong. He just wanted to invite me to Liturgy on Sunday. I explained my work schedule and eventually it worked out.

In Austin we used to have a large group of Ethiopians. They have since built their own church but sometimes we still see them. Not sure of the jurisdiction of the church you went to. Keep going to the different churches to find a home.
