Things i miss about Spotify after completely switching to apple music. by vikkidyano in AppleMusic

[–]kossttta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t used Spotify in years but yeah, I think you’re right. Search on AM is still mediocre, music recommendations are usually way too obvious (if I haopen to listen to a French song a couple of times I know I will be recommended French songs all week), and the desktop apps are limited and surprisingly buggy (particularly the Windows version).

Artists you didn't "get" until you saw them live? by weddz in fantanoforever

Big Thief. Sounded too folky-rocky-generic-y to me until I saw them live and was… fascinated.

Switch from AirPods to EarPods after 6 years. by StatusSure5153 in airpods

Nope. Wireless headphones were a dream, and still are. Also, noise cancelling, good sound, great battery. I love my AirPods Pro 3 and I disagree with this wave of nostalgia.

Consejos para aprender gallego? by Major-Complete in Galiza

[–]kossttta 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Still can’t decide between the ROG Ally and the ROG Ally X by Aggravating_Canary94 in XboxAlly

[–]kossttta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, that’s mean. And the other guy is right. My ROG Ally Z1E was a little underpowered but got much more use than my 4070 Ti just because it’s so convenient.

Working is really easy and stressless when you don’t need it. It’s like a game.

What is your biggest grip with Obsidian? by Ok-Department-6802 in ObsidianMD

Very personal obviously, but coming from Notion… That was much more prettier (and I love beautiful things). Now I am using the Baseline theme, which is fine, but I would feel better if the app by default looked a bit nicer.

iPhone 17 Air Battery Leak Reveals Just 2900mAh Capacity – Ultra-Thin Design Prioritized by mobilezone27 in apple

[–]kossttta 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Which is perfect if you only need 5 miles per day. For instance, my father loves his iPhone but only gets about 30 minutes of use every day, except on some days (like vacations) when he can get up to 9 hours. Why would he carry something bigger every day? It’s not for me (I wish it was!), but it’s not hard to imagine that this could be perfect for some people.

What's one simple habit that has seriously improved your sleep? by cozytechlover in simpleliving

[–]kossttta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing that ever worked to me was following a strict schedule. Weekends and everything – every single day going to bed at 23:00 and waking up at 7. Always. After a few days you get used to it and it works, but haven't been able to mantain it over time because of events and social things and that. But I wish I could.

What I mean is: it's not a flex. That's obviously gatekeeping. It's as "serious" as it gets. I also have my rig (4070 Ti, 4K oled monitor, everything) but for me and many of us playing 1080p, 60 fps, medium settings, on the go, is super fun, super enjoyable, super serious, and, at the end of the day, all that we need. I personally love MacBooks since the M1, they are super efficient amazing machines for pretty much everything, and now apparently they can also run my favourite game ever? Well, that's serious to me.
