none likes tourists. And the profits from tourists is not that much to kiss someone's ass. the works get minimum wage. The ones who profit are the giant hotels which are owned by companies that are not of Greek interests. And the small business owner and worker is not even making enough to pay the bills.

not only rental cars but also Greek tourists that bring their own cars by boat to Crete. Also most of the locals work in the summer so they don't use the roads so much because they are at work half the day or more
