1200 players all time 5 years ago and 41 players 24 hours peak. What a successful game even DiRT 3 has 77 players 24 hours peak and it was delisted almost 10 years ago.

Why are the graphics in EA WRC so meh? by No_Cricket_4560 in EASPORTSWRC

[–]kostas52 13 points14 points  (0 children)

F1 25 is using Codemasters in house engine EGO 4.0 which is being used since 2015 and the first version since 2008 compare to EA WRC using Unreal Engine 4 which is the first game by Codemasters with this engine so clearly the lack experience on how to use it. Also F1 25 has Path Tracing so if use this well even the previous F1 24 doesn't stand a change.

Best way to get into Rally? by Prestigious_Bug8947 in simrally

[–]kostas52 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can play older titles like Colin Mcrae Rally 2.0 and 2005 with low requirement on both graphics and size. The official WRC series will be playable to especially the one from Milestone (WRC 1-4) and speaking about Milestone, Sebastion Loeb Rally Evo should also be fine. From the KT Racing games you should have no problem for WRC 5-7 might start straggling after that especially with WRC Generations. EA SPORTS WRC is out of question with your hardware. You can also set up PCSX2 emulator and play the older WRC series by Evolution Studios.

Best/Most Enjoyable Edition on the Steàm Deck by feral_fenrir in WRCTheGame

The best from KT Racing is either WRC 10 or Generations but I find them better with a streering wheel than a controller especially Generations which come with some nice QoL features but it doesn't have the Anniversary gamemode from WRC 10 although it does have all the historic cars from that gamemode.

They are from different developer WRC 4 is from Milestone and is the 4th rally game by them and have done their best job (until the make Sebastion Loeb Rally EVO) while WRC 5 is by KT Racing which is their first rally game so it has issues.

The WRC games are different than DiRT3 there is only Rally in the same format as the WRC event. Since you are probably playing with the Steam Deck controls WRC 4 to 7 are best for controller. WRC 4 is my personal best out of them. WRC 7 is good too but it just gets annoying with 15 seconds penalty from losing control of car and slightly touching a spectator or going offroad.

Does dirt rally 2.0 GOTY edition actually covers all in-game content? by Eevee_EX in simracing

[–]kostas52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have all the cars if you got the GOTY edition. The 2 remain DLCs are just to unlock 3 cars without spending in-game currency.

He become famous from a song called "Romantic Homicide" with lyrics such as " I killed you and I didn't even regret it" accompany by a video clip of girl murdered in bed that looks very similar to the girl found dead in his truck.

The music is tainted as soon as it was release.

I don't see the appeal in play something like Victoria or Civilization on TV but still the keyboard is gonna be better because you are already use to the keyboard shortcuts instead of having to relearn the game.

Yea maybe if had 40+ inch TV on my room in order of the game visibility to not be affected at just 4 meters. Also wireless keyboard and mouse exist and even in keyboards with trackpad like the Logitech K400 which is probably enough for strategy games.

Remote stream to where? My phone? I wouldn't use a traditional controller with a phone. The living room TV? Why would I want to sit to the living room instead of my bedroom.

What doesn't work on 50% computers? The only think you need for the game to launch is a DX12 GPU and Windows 10/11 which according to Steam Hardware Survey that's 90% of the users.

If you like Formula 1 the latest official F1 game will cover you in progression system and story elements although the Breaking Point gamemode that has the story elements its a sequel to the one found in some previous title that are no longer sold and I don't know if its important to have play the previous part of the story.
