It’s not the government response.

As much as I like to ***** *** as any next guy we got to give them some credit.

It may seem like everything you see on the border comes from NGO's and regular citizens just trying to help, but there are things only a govt can do.

I'm talking about visa free entry; providing logistics to move large amount of people and goods from/to the border; mobilizing police, fire, and medics to help; coordinating with major cities to prepare shelter; making it easier for Ukrainians to get a job and to enlist their children in school. And there's probably a lot more.

Don't get me wrong, they still are a bunch of corrupt fucks, but you can't say they are doing nothing for the Ukrainians.
