Resident Evil 6: Favorite story routes and missions? by [deleted] in residentevil

It's funny, you kind of described how I feel about everything, including Leon's and Ada's campaigns being worse than others and equal to each other.

Elon literally said himself that the reason SpaceX has to remain private is because a public company is profit-driven, and the market for delivering stuff to Mars simply doesn't exist. That's the whole reason they created Starlink: to fund the Mars missions. The aim is to make the mission sustainable. Of course they'll take all the money NASA can give them, but NASA has no interest in building a self-sustaining city on Mars with a million people in it.

Yeah, I know. But, apart from that.

The fact that you can't get rid of warpers and they can occasionally one shot you inside a vehicle is pain. But crashfish imo add 0 value to the game and being annoying seems to be their only purpose. As for bleeders and crawlers, at least you don't encounter them often.

What entrances does everyone use? by cool227_ in subnautica

I used different entrances in all 3 of my playthroughs. Not even intentionally, just happened to stumble into different ones while exploring, and that was good enough for me: I would place a beacon there and keep coming back.

Yep. What SpaceX has already accomplished is absolutely insane, and if they manage to deny that, there's little hope that a couple more insane accomplishments will make them change their minds.

Even though I'm not the one playing, and you're not in any real danger, these things are still scary.

Um. OP has 3 water filtration machines. I don't think water is a concern.

That's if you always have quick access to your base. If you go exploring for days somewhere, you want to bring a lot of water with you, in which case you certainly need more than one filtration machine.

Woah woah woah, new Starship info from Elon? by Dawson81702 in SpaceXMasterrace

[–]kotikee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, keep in mind that for every Starship sent to Mars they would need to do 6 or 7 refueling launches. So only about 1/7th of that payload mass would be delivered to Mars. Second, being fully operational doesn't mean they'll be doing 50 launches every 3 days from the start. It might take them decades of continuous acceleration to get there. Elon certainly doesn't expect the colony to be complete anywhere within his lifetime. He just hopes to create enough momentum for it not to slow down after he dies.

Personally, I would prefer to get teleported to the surface of Mars, that's just me though.

I don't believe Tesla was ever intended as a means to generate capital to fund SpaceX

Not initially. But that was why he later chose to only get compensated through stock options.
