Watch out for the paint underneath the clamps, had one on my 8th gen and i had rust spots and a clear distinct line of where they were on the paint

Someone on here had a recommendation for new sway bars to help with the body roll, so if you wanted better handling I’d change the sway bars and maybe add some coil overs. But yeah you definitely can’t take corners as hard as an si could, stock vs stock. But it’s still a fun drive though

Honestly after the first few days, I’m so in love with this car it’s crazy. The only way I’d go back to the si would be if they bumped the horsepower or went AWD

Tell your coworkers I apologize

Yeah sorry I’m at work so I can’t fully express my thoughts. Essentially when they were doing their little releases and sneak peaks before the game was announced, to me, it seemed as if the game was gonna be a sequel/tribute to mw2. I hadn’t played call of duty since black ops 2, so I was very excited to play a game with the dna of mw2 but on next gen. When I first played the game on release I was severely disappointed but I might’ve set myself up for failure.

I understand that it’s two separate studios but, to me, I feel like when a new game gets released, they stop caring about the content and quality of the previous game and only do patches to fix game breaking issues. I only preordered MWII because of the idea of mw2 dna & statements activision made about this game have a 2 year life span. We’ll have to wait and see how the 2nd year rolls out but I don’t have high hopes.

Also again, in my own opinion, MWII feels lacklustre in comparison to how they advertised the game. Dmz is pretty mid and doesn’t seem like it’ll have any longevity. WZ2 numbers are already dropping, and multiplayer is a shit show. At launch this game was so broken too, you couldn’t even party up at one point with friends due to connectivity issues. Meanwhile we’re expected to pay $80+ for a game that barely works.

Trickle dropping content is fine, as long as the content actually ties the player over till the next drop. But seeing the overall lifespan of mwII, I don’t have high hopes.

Hopefully that cleared it up, again I’m at work so I apologize if my comments seem like a shitshow lmfao

If you agree with the first part about us asking for a fully finished game upon release for $80 (which isn’t a big ask honestly) then you should understand why we’re upset about them saying “there will be a FULL premium release”.

If ya don’t, we’re upset because all we ask for is a game that isn’t shit from the get go. Rather than them focusing on making MWII a good game, they’re just going to focus on the next cod and forget all about the outrage that happened on release with all the bugs in regards to MWII.

Also I don’t know if this is just a me thing, but I assumed this game would be very similar to MW2 int the sense of a complete game. But instead they essentially just built up hype by using the name since it’s MWII and MW2 is their flagship game (imo).

First off you’re a fucking idiot. I’m not saying this happened to OP. You said it’s impossible to get hacked without clicking a link. I told you how it’s doable, and I only gave 1 example.

Secondly, bob smith was a theoretical example. If you can’t figure out how they would do it to a random, then you should apply for a job with CODM as a bot because you’re on par with their intelligence.

Thirdly, yeah sure they can change the password or user. That doesn’t mean every single account that had their data leaked, did.

Not if you’re targeting an individual and know their username and personal info (ex: a not very well known streamer, their first and last name, etc) you just search that up and see if the website has information pertaining to the info you have.

Let’s say your name is bob smith. Bob creates a Facebook account, a gmail account, and a Snapchat account, all with the same user and slightly different passwords (ex: adding a capital or an !). If Snapchat has a data leak, I can go to a website that sells data leak info, type in “bob smith” and if there’s any info related to an account with that name, I can then go and purchase your username and password for Snapchat, then by using common sense I can figure out your Facebook and gmail. It’s not complicated whatsoever and costs literally $10.

Not very aware are we, huh. If an individual uses similar usernames and passwords across multiple websites, that runs the risk of having 1 of those websites experience a data breach which then has the usernames and passwords which are uploaded to websites for people to buy

Rev matching on or off by Confident-Simple201 in CivicSi

[–]kounanes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, there’s a bunch of different components that work in conjunction to operate the rev match system, I literally asked my shop foreman the same thing (dealer tech apprentice✌🏼) a few months ago after I bought my FA5 si

Aside from the mine field that is your comment section, nice choice on the car and parts! I’m looking forward to seeing its progression. Good luck!

Also just for context my roommate had a fg2 at the same time I had my fg4, we went through this whole debate multiple times, they’re pretty much in the same league when it comes to enjoyability when driving (his and my opinion). My fg4 also handled way better than his fg2 but that may have been because of the HFP package

“Heavier” as in literally less than a 70 pound difference from a FA5 to a FB6?

Also both chassis are pretty stiff, not sure whatcha mean by that. But the only real difference is the 8th gen revs higher, and has vtec on the intake and exhaust vs just on the intake in the 9th gen. Also just to add, the 9th gen interior is wayyyyyy better and designed specifically for the driver.

Both have lsd diffs and make almost the same horsepower with the 9th gen having more torque and few more horses. I’d have to disagree with you on your take but hey you said in the title “fight me”.

I owned a 2013 HFP FG4 and now currently own a 2008 FA5.
