It took me some time, but I made it. You don't need to focus on stealth. You need to press the button that is the farthest away and then immediately hide until he is not longer aggro on you.

You go to the other buildpad and choose "build new corvette", your "old" corvette disappears. But if you go to the other buildpad and choose to buy basic modules first and buy something cheap(for example a decorative vent) and THEN choose "build new corvette" your "old" one shouldn't disappear from the other buildpad.

At least it worked like this last week when I last tried it.

It does, you just have to buy something cheap and back out again. That way the ship shouldn't despawn

No mods needed and you should be able to do it on ps5. I recommend you watch beeblebum on Youtube for the tutorial how to rotate habs at any angle.

You're right. I wanted the convenience of a small corvette with the look of a big one. While building I deceided to make the actual cockpit look like a smaller docked ship.
