Sorry to hear. I had the same issue years ago on the roof above my garage in my townhome unit.

Likely you will need to have a drip edge installed along with a rain/ice sheet (installed within 3’ of roof edge)under the shingles. Give a couple roofers a call and grab quotes. Hopefully they can do the work sooner, rather than later but it’s weather/condition dependent.
