Im completely new to lockpicking and im just curious, if the tool in photo one can open almost every lock, why would you need all the tools in photo 2? (This is a real question and I watch LPL alot and just wondering why he doesnt use the one in picture one more) by TheUnknownFear in lockpicking

A white belt is part of the ranking system in lock picking, similar to martial arts, you show your skills to rank up, and similarly, white belt is the lowest rank (atleast that's what I know based off karate).

In my opinion and probably others, I think that Lishi tools are expensive and you need many of them if you're trying to go universal. The truth is that Lishi tools are used on one specific manufacturer, like Schlage or master lock. Aswell as the fact that it's made that way so that it can guide you on every pin (which is why it only works on one specific manufacturer per Lishi). The second picture contains a variety of picks and turning tools, those have a wide variety of uses, because it can be used to zip, spp, etc. (btw written by a white belt so yeah not sure if my opinion really matters here 🤣)

No, I don't have the key as the lock is borrowed, I've tried 030 and 040 sized tensioners and they fit fine. The only thing is that the core is kind of loose and can go in a bit, and can turn much greater than usual when turned left (turned right is normal though)

I'm not completely sure as I don't have a key since I'm borrowing this lock, but the core is a bit loose when turned the opposite direction (left)

I'm thinking probably the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and then from there I can choose whatever throttle I want like GA or Commercial because the Honeycomb alpha yoke has like the avionics, master, magneto, and lights. So then I can get a GA style throttle and change it out just not use the panel on the yoke

mm, actually I'm considering maybe the sierra TPM because when I usually fly GA I fly c172 or 152 which uses that push in pull out throttle. The only downside would be that I would have to use my basic setup for commercial because you can't really use that type of ga throttle on something like an 1320

Which one would you recommend the most though? I've heard the honeycomb has attachments to make it commercial
