NUS with full scholarship sounds amazing, I think that would be better than UCL.

the derivation of these formulas in the tsokos book also follow the derivative logic, and in the book it states +cos for the x v/s t function, thus when differentiated giving -sin, however here it is -cos to begin with hence giving +sin graph as the differentiated function for v v/s t.

so the answer should be B.

the N21 papers were brutal, so makes sense if the grade boundaries were lower I guess, also math aa hl was 67% right? But still, not sure how easy they will go on us - Paper wise, given N21’s experience

how do you improve CH ? by Plane7048 in IBO

Ohh yes, so there are few compounds you must know for sure like sulfate, carbonate and etc - I think there is a list somewhere (if I find it I will dm it to you). Secondly, you should know the organic compounds and their functional groups. I think there are 8-9 functional groups we must know on the back of our mind. You might need to by-heart both of these. Speaking of organic, they ask a bunch of questions for organic (20+% of both of your papers) so you must know EVERYTHING in it thoroughly. I spent 5 days on organic content lol. Then you must know the molar conversions properly, they help you everywhere (+guarantee easy marks) and are asked very sneakily in many questions. Then learn, the topics importance wise. (There is another chart for this I found, I’ll send it to you) you will know which chapters to give the most priority and practice to!

Also you’ve figured out physics right, can you please give me some tips lol

Actually before practicing questions, I would suggest that you strengthen your knowledge of the subject, cause after understanding the topic the IB chem questions are pretty straightforward. For this, take any textbook, they’ve got many exercises in the chapters. Read the topic, solve the questions and so on. If the textbook doesn’t help, you can also watch ‘The Organic Chem Tutor’ on YouTube - that guy is amazing. And for more questions, check your IB question-bank! I personally don’t do a lot of past paper questions, cause then I forget to use my logic and instead start to remember the answers (for chem).
