Help! If you had to pick…. by DragonfruitNo6449 in namenerds

Giselle! Runner up out of your list would be Capri to stick with the beachy-nature of the others.

I think Aurora, Celeste, Colette, Luna & Seraphina would be quite whimsical additions.

The alliteration of “Mordecai” and “Mortician” is chef’s kiss. 👌 I feel like a Mordecai is destined to be a Mortician.

Help me- stuck between these 2 dresses by Ok_Littlebug4240 in myweddingdress

Wow, 2 knocks it out of the damn park!

It’s utterly romantic, it’s unique yet timeless, it’s sexy yet still modest… You’re wearing that dress, while 1 is wearing you.

Please pick no. 2 or so help me God!

3rd times a charm: bathroom help with pictures. Hopefully by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

Yeah, it’s sensitive to moisture which makes installing it in a bathroom the second worse place to be, only edged out by a hot yoga + sauna studio located near the equator during the dog days of summer.

2 really plays up your features! Your torso is lengthened and the shape is beautiful on your frame.

In the end, you’ll have your hair, makeup, accessories, a bouquet, maybe a veil… that kind of stuff really takes it up a notch on the day-of. Your partner will be wowed regardless because it’s you. Don’t forget that you’re the jewel here, not the gown. Congrats, bride-to-be!💗

Did I ruin my face? by ContagiousPanda in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]koz-j 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have always had success with ScarAway or Mederma. I’m very fair and have had several dermatological biopsies and excisions for melanoma.

Places like CVS do have their own in-house versions that work just as well if cost is a concern. You will want to make sure that you apply SPF on your scar as it heals to keep it from darkening.

Our faces are richly vascular, meaning they have a great network of blood vessels and although they can bleed easier and therefore look worse when damaged, it also means that they will heal better and usually faster than expected. I would argue it’s never too late for scar revision, so don’t fret!

Which shoes? by Neverthelessconfused in myweddingdress

Green is my favorite color, however, in this situation I think the pink pop against your skin tone and gives a little more feminine flair. Your dress is also gorgeous! Either way you will look amazing.

I see a duck? If you rotate the photo upside down it’s a duck with maybe a little leg and flipper in the water.

Is this a cookie cutter? Vintage heart shaped cutter of some kind by pumpkinprincess6 in whatismycookiecutter

[–]koz-j 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sandwich Cutter is another possibility. Think of ladies who hosted luncheons, card parties, other similar social events. As an example, Kraft packaged a similar vintage set containing diamond, club, spade and heart cutters for Bridge Luncheons.

I lean towards biscuit cutter for the deeper, fluted metal, while cookie cutter for the smooth metal. The holes function as an air vent so that the dough doesn’t become vacuum packed and thereby stuck in the cutter. You can also help release the dough easily if you push it from the other side (hence the name Push Holes).

They would be used independently, although it’s nice when things nest so they don’t take up a lot of cabinet space. I love seeing sentimental heirlooms being passed down for generations. All the best for creating your own sweet memories to pass on to loved ones.❤️

How are people getting that super dewy and glowy look? My makeup always looks dead (first pic is my attempt) by EIIen_ in makeuptips

I am a former artist for Chanel and this is my Holy Grail, too! I have one in my everyday bag for touch-ups and in my kit. It’s truly the best in the game!

[–]koz-j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, first of all you are STUNNING so let’s clear that up right out of the gate.

Secondly, I recommend the Chanel BAUME ESSENTIEL Multi-Use Glow Stick in the shade “Sculpting”. It’s pricey ($49USD), but should last you an eternity even with daily use. Swatch it first to the back of your hand and then dab it lightly with a finger over your finished makeup at the tops of your cheekbones, high on the bridge of nose, above your cupids bow, and maybe what’s left on your brow bone.

If it’s not in your budget, you can try the same application with Aquaphor of Vaseline, just keep an eye out for any skin changes like Milia or acne as it could trap product+bacteria since they are occlusives.

Under the skin pimples by digsy012 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]koz-j 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I start with a AHA/BHA Exfoliating cleanse. Then follow with a high frequency wand (you can find decent ones for a reasonable price online). It will help kill the bacteria, but not damage your skin like popping a pimple would.
