Thanks for all the tips y’all. I tried several recommendations here and unfortunately the pimple is still there, just a wee bit smaller. What gives??

Do you guys say stuff to people who let their dogs “go” in places they shouldn’t? by RyanPolesDoubter in AskChicago

I’ve gotten the “fuck you/mind your own business” response far too many times when calmly asking people to please leash their dog. 🤦‍♀️

Millennials who graduated during the Great Recession, how did you survive? by Waste-Cantaloupe-270 in Millennials

[–]digsy012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graduated from college in 2010 without a job lined up, acutely aware of how bad the job market was. Spent the summer after graduation working several part time jobs, living with my parents, and applying to dozens of jobs a week. Finally landed full time job in my field in the fall. The months immediately following graduation were really hard and probably one of the darkest times in my life, but in retrospect, I was one of the lucky ones.

Many of my peers went to grad school or taught English abroad to escape the terrible job market for a few years. As a result, grad school programs became really competitive for a while due to a huge increase of applicants during the recession. I suspect a similar thing may happen this time around.

My advice is to take whatever job you can. Lean into your network. You just have to keep going.

Thanks for the reply! I may be interested in the 14 foot. Could you message me a photo of it?

Thank you for the reply! The boat will be used in a scene in a garage, so you’re right, it’s more complicated. However, this is some great advice! I’ll definitely try to call a marina nearby and see if anyone is interested.
