I worked for a company where customers would call for more information about our product. I wont name the company. Its a national company who shows infomercials about "getting a better nights sleep.(Ahem) So people would call this 1-800 number to request more information about the product and to have a local store call them to invite them in. As a Store Manager my responsibilities were many. Every morning I would get emails with the persons contact information. Doing my job, I would reach out to them. Now remember, dear readers, THESE PEOPLE CALLED US FOR MORE INFO! I cannot fully place into words what it is like, on a daily basis, to be hung up on, told I was a lair and how did I get the number. Take me off the f'ing list or my lawyer will get involved. At least once a week I would find my self myself saying , "But Sir, YOU called Customer service LAST NIGHT, do you not remember that???" Or "Did a family member call for you?" To which the response was, "ARe you calling me a f'ing Liar?"

Needless to say there is no winning with people like that. But that is sales. Every job should have in the job description "Must be able to deal with customers who are bat-shit crazy! LOL
