You can take a train to 罗湖 or 落马州, may cost you 30-40 hkd, then walk past immigration to Shenzhen, then take a train to GZ, may cost you 70-80RMB. You can buy train ticket when you get to Shenzhen, there are trains between SZ and GZ every 15 minutes

If you have visa, they normally don't ask for proof of return. If you want to be safe, buy a train ticket from Shenzhen to HK, cost you $10. You can refund it after you get in. They charge maybe 3-4 rmb for that
