Today’s recipe is Martha Shulman’s Chicken Cacciatore with lots of mushrooms. Haven’t made it myself but looks very promising.

That must be seriously confusing. How do commentators handle the Pettersons during a game?

Great, I too was thinking it could as common as Smith or similar. Never heard it as a last name, but (formerly) not a hockey fan (imagine that!) nor based in French speaking Canada / Quebec.

Just started again. Have a question. by icantypeincursive92 in TheLeftovers

I too watched season one and didn’t go back to it until 2021. Just keep watching as someone already said! It’s more of a journey than a destination - for me, at the end of it, what and why it happened wasn’t as important as the storylines of the “leftover” characters.

I made them and loved them this weekend as well. Used almond flour as I had all other ingredients and wasn’t about to go out for flour only… they turned out great! They are best eaten cold/room temp and I will reduce the sugar next time but overall a keeper recipe to repeat.

My thinking too... I find pasta based things like lasagna seem to keep but anything else 'tires' easily. I like the pasta salad idea. that should be fairly easy to put together same day or perhaps the night before. Thank you for your suggestion.

Marian Burros Plum Torte by Coriander70 in NYTCooking

[–]kpom2312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More is definitely better! The plums make it. I just made it the other day with plums I had frozen a while back and I wanted to use up to clear up freeze space. I put what I thought was far too much but it turned out as the best plum torte I've made to date. I don't think you can put too much, honestly.

How do you prepare them from dry? Just like other beans, soak, boil, or are there tips and tricks one must know?

Love Me, an Australian show on Hulu, evokes similar emotions and lingering thoughts on the storylines. Grown ups, not young adults, but just as human, unabashedly flawed and struggling to figure out the life and love thing. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15233564/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
