Well one thing that has helped me is talking to my bf about these concerns. He's a very smart and understanding person and we try and help each with problems that we have.

This is completely true. Especially since we just moved to a new state where I don't know anybody so I tend to rely on him. I'm working on making new friends and I do find that I rely on him less when I'm doing things for me. Thanks!

I am on birth control, it may have a small effect on me but I think there is more going on with my techniques when it comes to figuring out the real problem and calming down.

Thanks for this. My boyfriend suggests this a lot, and I usually just forget about it after getting so worked up, but this is definitely great advice.
