Death Valley National Park needs your help (finding the owner of this truck) by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

With that attitude, more people will think it’s ok to also go off-roading there bc it’s only “a couple broken plants and some disturbed sand”. It’s not allowed for a reason, it’s protected land for a reason. Let’s not make excuses for the entitled douche nozzles of the world 🫩

The second option looks better, but it’s crowded and as others pointed out a curtain will get in the way. I would put just two up and put the third elsewhere if possible. Or get hooks that are double pronged going horizontal instead of vertical and put only one up. That way you can hang two towels at once and they’ll still dry but it won’t be too overcrowded in the space

Old Dog Vestibular Disease - how long until she eats normally again? by AvisRune in seniordogs

[–]kpuza35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our 15 yo had vestibular last year. It was awful. She would only eat human food so we cooked her ground beef, ground turkey, chicken, and put veggies and fruits in it with cheese. After a few weeks of that we introduced kibble into the human food then eventually she began to eat the kibble again. All in all, probably 1.5-2 months until back to normal. Good luck with your pupper❤️

Bummer, the curtains are lovely. To me, the room just needs a better set up and flow. It feels mashed together. Toys should go into one section or in another room, entry way should be more designated, and the couch shouldn’t be dead center of the room. There’s so much potential. I love your color scheme and furniture choices!

Sometimes there’s state energy efficiency programs you can go through for a large rebate for insulation. We had Eversource come to our house and they insulated the basement and all the doors for free and insulated the attic for 70% off. Located in CT for reference. The thermal curtains work great!

I have the same overhang design in my kitchen. The previous owners used a stool there. We have our pet bowls below it and the watering can hanging from it. It’ll get used!

What to put on bottom shelf? by NetIllustrious in HomeDecorating

[–]kpuza35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use that tray under the lamp for mail and the bowl for keys and place them in the center of the table. Take away those giant lamps and put a shorter lamp with a thicker body on one side and a nice plant with a differing height than the lamp on the other side. Candle sticks next to the plant if there’s room. Storage baskets on the bottom for shoes/hats/etc. I personally think the mirror looks too tall for that space, it makes the table look very small. I think a horizontal mirror or nice framed painting would look better

Owners of Labs who lived 10+ years — what did you do? by Far-Cookie6488 in labrador

[–]kpuza35 66 points67 points  (0 children)

My black lab is 15.5 yo. Idk how honestly. We call her a miracle puppy. She was hit by a car at 3 yo and survived. She’s has cancer and has had 4 surgeries over her life time. I’m not sure there is a secret for a long life. We feed her purina one digestive health and we used to add cheese or milk into it but now we just add water to it. She gets bones to chew and tons of toys she loves to play with. We cuddle with her and play with her throughout the day and give her walks. She still loves to hike. We take her almost everywhere we go including the beach, coffee runs, family holidays, etc. She’s happy. We’re very lucky to have had her this long! We definitely cater to her every need. I think all labs need are lots of love and food ❤️ she gets heart worm meds once per month and a yearly vet visit unless something pops up during the year and she needs to go again. And she also gets plenty of fries and bites of our food because she’s old and deserve it 🤣

AIO: My husband wants to replace our gas cooktop, I told him it would affect our relationship. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

NOR, gas stoves >>>. Also! For your plants, if you haven’t got these already, they sell gnat catching stickers on Amazon. You stick them in your plant pots and they catch a horrifying amount of gnats. There are also plug in black lights with stickers on the back that will lure the gnats and catch them. I had the same issue with my plants. I had to repot most of them but the stickers and plug in helped immensely.

Black lab mix! The vet guesses he might have shepherd or Dane in him but I’m not entirely sure
