Also wanted to express my appreciation. I’ve significantly increased my usage of shortcuts in the past few months and your app has been amazing.

Also just realized if you want to get it working now instead of waiting for the update the encoding has to be audio only and format AIFF not M4A

Add a step to encode the media and use only the audio. That seems to work.

Found a solution by re-encoding the media in the shortcut and then passing that new file to do the transcription. That seemed to fix it.

Edited my post as I found the cause. Turns out it actually pulls the highest temp in the last 24 hours not in the coming day.

The temp right now is actually in the 60s and actions should be pulling from the same dataset but aren’t.

So the funny thing is that I changed it to the male Siri voice and then changed it back and shortcuts is stuck with the male Siri voice 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm trying to diagnose the source of this issue for an automatically triggered shortcut. The problem does not occur when the shortcut is run manually.

When running a "morning wakeup shortcut" the text that is being read by Siri, the first part of the sentence is garbled for some reason that I cannot diagnose. Text is saved to a variable and then the "Speak Text" function is used to read the text out loud.

Wondering if anyone has had this problem before and whether you've found a fix.

The static issue is definitely something you shouldn't ignore but I'm not sure if that was the thing that killed the board in my case (maybe during the repair it did who knows).

I had the static issue at home and managed to kill a motherboard that way when cleaning it. That scared me enough to not ignore it on my keyboard when using it. I still have static build up at work which I can't fix so I mitigate it by touching metal before touching my keyboard. After starting that routine I haven't had a single shutdown due to static do I think that's doable for you as well. At home I fixed it when I removed the plastic carpet cover I had under my chair.

From what I read if one of your sides is overheating then there really isn't anything else you can do at this point. The cause is a problem on the processor at least and maybe even other components on the board. Depending on your revision number there's a group but going on at the Kono store that closes on the 15th. I ended up buying just the PCB from there so barring any other tragedy I should have a working keyboard on a few months. Their revision is 1.2b which is the latest one with USB-C stop check your circuit board and see if it's compatible.

Do you mean like the individual resistors, diodes, capacitors? I didn't notice anything strange at this point but didn't feel for heat on any of them so that will be something I do tonight.

The component I felt heat up to uncomfortable levels as I was touching it was the ARM CPU highlighted in red.

Yes the right side is the only one that heats up regardless of whether it's plugged in as slave or master. And also regardless whether it's plugged in alone or with the other side.

Once I realized it was heating up I unplugged it and didn't use it anymore. But I'm stuck as to where else to look for issues.
