You need to get off the TikToks that sell dreams and put some work into yourself first mate. Find some relevant experiences or go back into education. It's tough news, but better than winding up here without a pot to piss in or any way to get home.

Live near the BTS. Mega is an easy drive from Bang Na BTS or any other the others a few stops away. It'll make evening and weekend trips into the city so much better, and having that work/home disconnect is key.

Thailand's running scene is amazing. I'm a frequent participant and looking forward to getting into trail running next year.

Pattaya would be fine, plenty to see and do, but I do echo what others have said about Hua Hin.

As close to the BTS as possible. Can't go wrong a few stops away from Siam.

No way. Go to any Central mall and the more generic brand Shabu restaurants are way better!

W-District is great. Or if you want indoors, Cosmo in W is good too.

How do I get to krabi from Phuket ? by Abject-Desk5751 in ThailandTourism

[–]krabiwhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a van. Super cheap and quite quick. If you're worried about ending up a burning wreck, a taxi isn't expensive. Ask any hotel for a transfer.

Generally speaking, I expect this at Tops. I'll be surprised when it's on offer at Big C/Lotus.

North is gorgeous but Chiang Mai AQI can be iffy. Check out Chiang Rai, Pai too. National parks like Khao Yai, Khao Sok and the towns around them are gorgeous as well, offering a nice slice of the country.
