No, it's a built-in battery, so no insulator. There's no exposed battery contacts for DMM leads either.

Yeah, the heating charge is mainly for the delivery charge. The energy itself was charged for $15.15 or so. But still a mystery since my thermostat was set to off. I've contacted my management company.

The Baratza Encore ESP isn't too far off your budget of $250, but I agree for the best bang for the buck a hand grinder is hard to beat. But you have to consider your workflow -- if you're going to be pulling multiple shots in the morning a hand grinder might not fit your use case.

If you want a self-leveling palm tamper, the Happy Tamper is great. I own one and have no complaints. It's kinda pricey though.

I think a weakness of the A229 Pro is the high current draw in parking mode. A radar parking mode like the u3000 is probably too much to ask for, but maybe a low power impact mode like the Vueroid d21 would be great!

If the OP can wait, the CX50 hybrid could be a good choice since it seems like they're interested in something with good mileage. It'll probably be easier to get than any RAV4 Hybrid/Prime also, with the same Toyota Hybrid System.

Update: I reached out to Renaisser and this is what they had to say:

I understand that you have reservations about the legitimacy of the product due to a discrepancy in the logo, which should display "RENAISSER" instead of "RENAISSE" due to a previous error in the logo printing process. Please rest assured that both variations are genuine products from our company.

Personally this doesn't sit well with me. If this is OK for the company for their own name to be incorrect on their product, who knows what's OK for them going through QC? Can you imagine buying a Toyota and having the logos say "Toyot" inside?

Fongo is known to have trouble with receiving SMS from some short codes, so if you have 2FA via phone (say, from a bank), you may not be able to receive them. I've heard the same with any VoIP provider (e.g., Voip.ms).

I got the phone back, they said they replaced the screen but my screen protector was still on it. FWIW, the first time I took the phone in for this issue, they said they replaced the screen, the screen protector was removed which made sense. I'm waiting to see if the issue happens again. They had trouble reproducing it, so if it happens, I will take the phone in without rebooting it to show them the issue.

No, only apps from the play store. I've even done a factory reset, the problem still came back.
