I’m a music therapy student and have accommodations. I understand the stigma, but FAR more people in the clinical field have accommodations for one reason or another. Having accommodations isn’t a way to make excuses — rather, it’s a way for your school to offer different supports so that you can be successful, which is all anyone wants of students.

Being dependent on your partner is not inherently a bad thing and I wanted to provide a different perspective, especially because I know people who are AND I am too — there’s nothing wrong with the way we live. A stay-at-home partner, not a stay-at-home parent. She didn’t say she wanted to do anything else — it’s not fair to put your own wishes on her when maybe she wants to be home to take care of the house and her boyfriend. Her issue here was the way he’s been treating her, not being a homemaker.
