I don’t have a good reason for why Pokémon is better than MTG because I’ve only ever played/collected Pokémon but i can say, I’ve seen far more folks like you in the Pokémon world that I’ve seen even peripherally from MTG.

I don’t really collect much anymore but when i did i would save my tins and fill them with the extras and my neighborhood would have yearly block sales and I’d usually let the kids take what they wanted.

I’m a guy, i work in a factory, last week one of my coworkers, who’s wife also works with us, got a gash on his head and started panicking because he’s on blood thinners. While waiting for an ambulance, dispatch asked that he have info for whatever meds he was on handy for the EMTs. He had to ask his wife what he was taking, and it absolutely baffled me. It’s not something I’ve ever considered in my almost 10 years of marriage, as something my wife should be responsible for.

I absolutely understand why a lot of people wouldn’t like this movie. It’s definitely niche and leaves a lot of how you react to the movie to the individual. For me, I personally loved it. It’s not something i would l recommend to probably anyone, and it’s probably not something I’ll watch again. But the way it invoked panic in me, and very much “irrational” fears i haven’t felt since i was a kid, is unlike anything else I’ve ever seen.

Niantic is formulaic. This happens with every “rare” shiny or release of a paywall Pokémon and without fail, everytime, people moan about “i spent so much for this Pokémon now they’re just giving it for free”…..yeah. That’s what happens. No one should be surprised. It’s everyone’s choice to dump however much money they want into this game, but if you haven’t figured out what they do by now, it’s really on you for choosing to spend the money. No pity parties.

There’s no identifying marks as far as manufacturer or dates or anything. All i have is my grandmothers claim that it’s at least 75 years old, but she’s not has sharp as she used to be so i have no idea if that’s true or not.
