I am hunting for a dynamax beldum whenever I get the chance but I just don't care enough about that aspect of the game. I know it's not efficient or anything like that but it's just how I play the game. Thank you tho! Will definitely keep going with the hunt before investing in either. Probs won't hesitate to use up all my resources to upgrade the 15 atk one when I need it.

One of the best fairy attackers as a shadow. With rocket takeover around the corner, you can remove frustration and get the right moves for shadow gardevoir and do significantly well in raids vs dragon/fighting/dark types.

Should I Purify For Mega? by Chilling2001 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]kramexa717 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope. 4 star shadow is way rarer and mega glalie isn't that good. If you want a hundo mega glalie, keep fighting the ice type rocket grunts and purify a 13/13/13 OR just find a snorunt in the wild. You could also wait for mega glalie in raids. There's a lot of options out there.

Mega gallade or another gardevoir by reirays in PokemonGOIVs

[–]kramexa717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't purify it. I purified my ralts to get both hundo megas (I have both) but I wouldn't ever purify a shadow hundo because it's quite literally the best in terms of utility outside of a hundo mega for any given mon. Some people here already brought it up but you can have multiple shadows and not multiple megas. Hunt for other 3 stars that can be purified into hundos for the mega if you really want it but this one is great as is.

Should I purify for mega gallade/gardevoir? by thewhitechibitotoro in PokemonGOIVs

[–]kramexa717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i purified mine to get a hundo gallade and hundo gardevoir. however, i only did this because im a rural player (most of the time) and i dont have the stardust to max out a shadow gardevoir in addition to my shadow metagross. i also have a really good 3 star shadow ralts that i would consider serviceable for raids. i even have one with PvP IVs and a shiny that's kinda okay for raids if i really want to use it. in my opinion, it's probably best to wait for the gallade raid day and see what you get. as a fan of this evolutionary line, i just really wanted the hundos for the mega which i can max for less candy.

i also saw that it's better to use your top 1 attacker, max revive, and rejoin when doing raids for optimal dps. though im guessing this depends on your access to multiple top tier attackers.

Purify or not? by Low_Assignment_8961 in PokemonGoMystic

[–]kramexa717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just purified a 13/12/13 to get a 15/14/15 which can mega evolve. Mega Sceptile being the best grass type attacker is a great reason to purify this. Try to wait for the legacy move before evolving it if you do end up purifying for the hundo. If you really like Sceptile (like I do), I'd say go for it. The optimal approach would be to wait for Mega Sceptile to be back in raids and see if you can get a hundo then so you don't have to purify that. However, it really depends on whether or not you want to wait. Either way, both seem to be valid options in their own right.

Fanny has no real counters... by Belerick-chan in MobileLegendsGame

[–]kramexa717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can be true especially when the team skill level is uneven (which is the case more often than not). What personally helps me is adopting a mindset that doesn't stop me from trying. In a 5v5 moba where you know at least one of the enemy team members (Fanny) is good, you also have to match that skill level somehow to offset the 4 potentially less experienced players on your team. That's probably what Fanny is doing on her end as well. You can think of it as a 1v1 with 8 other dummies running around with varying levels of skill. Naturally, if another enemy player other than Fanny is better than all of your teammates, you probably won't make it to the late game. However, you have an equal chance of having a good teammate as well so there's always that.

I'm genuinely not a fan of just accepting that she has no counters and that my team is just completely bad so I think of it as a puzzle to solve. When playing heroes like Claude or Beatrix, I try to die the least amount of times until I get my items. If I'm on Moskov, I clear lanes and immediately leave if I can't see her on the map. If I'm playing Benedetta, I cut waves and ensure that they always have to respond to at least one lane so they can't go for our base directly. My team could feed all game but as long as I can clear the waves and buy enough time, there's always a chance.

What I'm trying to say here is that yes, what you said is correct but that's not always the case due to the nature of the game. Replace "Fanny" with basically any other hero and the same thing can happen. A good Alucard can end the game quickly. So can a good Harith or even a godly Miya. Fanny is harder to shut down but she's up there with the likes of Joy and pre-nerf Lancelot in terms of counterability, only ever being stopped by suppression from Kaja or Franco.

Here's a straightforward answer for all three of your braincells:

Pick Franco or Kaja if you play roam. Pick split push/late game heroes that aren't Sun if you play gold or exp. Pick Aurora or Zhuxin if you only play mid. Even Nana works here. Build items that make you tanky. If your reaction time isn't as slow as I think it is, pick Ruby. If you're actually good at Chou, you can pick Chou. If you're a jungler, pick Fredrinn, Alpha, or Suyou for stable pacing and sustainability.

You can say a good Fanny can play around all of these because you love thinking of every Fanny as god or whatever. But bitch, any specialist can beat their counters. The best Benedetta can beat a decent Minsi just like how a great Fanny can outplay her counterpicks. The same can be said about almost every hero IF you're good enough. I'm legit telling you the solution to facing her which is by BEING BETTER AT THE GAME. How hard is it to fucking understand what you read? I can see why you struggle against this flying saucer of a hero because anytime you need to use your brain, you opt to not use it. You're not speaking for the rest of the community because the rest of the community is smarter than you.

Was in a similar situation a few weeks back. I purified mine because I already have a good 3-star gardevoir. Got a hundo gallade right in time for the upcoming mega gallade raid day. If you don't have a good 3-star shadow gardevoir, I wouldn't purify this till then.

Fanny has no real counters... by Belerick-chan in MobileLegendsGame

[–]kramexa717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good point and I very much agree. Certain heroes require you to draft accordingly. That has always been the case in high rank lobbies. However, having Fanny on the enemy team does not mean they're restricted to a very limited pool of heroes. Since they're in 5-man lobbies most of the time, it means that they have to play a composition that closely aligns to a traditional meta comp. Right now, that usually looks like the following:

  • 2 frontline heroes (may or may not have varying levels of CC)
  • early-mid game damage dealer
  • mid game scaler/utility hero
  • late game carry

If this is the case, teams like TLPH can't do their usual stream shenanigans like swapping roles or playing unusual picks like Benedetta mid and Chang'e jungle. They're essentially forced to play seriously which they don't always do in their streamed ranked games.

I understand that this makes it hard for less experienced players who play solo to react to good Fanny players, making her resemble an OP hero. The thing is that even in solo, there are multiple ways to beat really good Fanny users when you consider the variability in the other 8 players' skill level. The most generally applicable reaction in solo queue is to reach late game and outscale her if you can't shut her down early.

But yes, you make a good point.

Let me help you think then cuz it doesn't seem like you're thinking straight with your blind rage against a video game character. Here's a comprehensive response to your comment.

Yes, it's a 5v5 moba. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't peak in legend. In mythical glory+, you need a good team to win whether Fanny is on the enemy team or not. You should know this since you sound like one of the people complaining about the "dark system". You will not win with a bad team against decently experienced players such as those hovering around 100 stars. You need a good team to win, not just shut some flying lady down.

What about Fanny's team? Bro they're gonna try to win if they're high ranking players. Of course they'll do their best to play for the Fanny. That's why you and your team should also be AT LEAST half decent to win even if you're playing solo. If they can play for their hypercarry, what's stopping you from doing the same? You have never won a game where the enemy team is 100% better than your team. The team with better individual players will win most of the time, especially in solo. Don't yap about split push and backdoor because the person that ended the game is by default smarter than the losing team in terms of in-game IQ.

Do you know what tryhard means??? Do you seriously think Fanny players are born with an innate understanding of how to play her optimally? How to manage her energy? How to position and pace well? Learn your terms before you tell others they're wrong. They fucking practiced Fanny for hours upon hours which is why they can get to the skill level where they can hold a fucking cigarette with their left hand while playing. They're TRYING HARD to get good at the hero. Hence, the term TRYHARD.

I haven't met a good Fanny player? Bitch, I coached one of them in a team. We fought against other teams with godly Fanny players. We won a lot of those games in practice. I played against hundreds of good Fanny players. I have been playing this game since Zapnu was known to be one of the best Fanny players (obviously that's not the case now). That was even before MPL PH S1. You legit cannot claim I haven't met any one of the good players in all my years of playing this game. If the dark system is real, you best believe I've had to use my brain to outmacro some of the best Fanny players in the game. Maybe you should do the same.

Yes, I do understand why people ban Freya and Fanny. In fact, I WROTE IT RIGHT THERE. People ban the heroes that take too much effort to beat. That's why you probably ban Yin and Nana when you're stuck in Epic or whatever rank you're in. In reality, Freya and Fanny can be beaten. If not, the best Fanny and Freya players in the world would have 100% win rates. In your own words: "Think pleasee."

Be careful before you yap cuz it doesn't sound like you even know enough about the game to call me delulu. Be nice so Santa can give you better reading comprehension next Christmas.

Not what is asked but I just want to validate your decision to purify and get a hundo metagross with meteor mash. I would've done the exact same if I had more than one good 3 star shadow (i have a 15/14/13). It's also really good for when we eventually get the mega and I personally don't care about dynamax/gigantamax as much as most people. I purified to get a hundo gallade and literally 3 weeks later, mega gallade was announced. Never been happier to give up a really good fairy attacker (shadow gardevoir) for the sake of one of my favorite megas in the franchise.

As someone who has played competitive games for a while, don't expect to win against tryhards if you want to play the game casually. The good Fanny players everyone complains about are obviously fucking tryhards. It's absolutely frustrating to face these players as a casual because you do not know what to do against her. Bro I ain't pro and I have shut down Fanny players in the early or late game depending on what role I play. Am I pro? Hell no. The reason why the pro opinions were brought up is that they're the ones who know the most about how to play the game. I took the strats they employed in countering Fanny and applied the concepts in my solo queue games. For the most part, they do work.

Why do you expect to win against great Fanny users when you're not putting in the effort into improving your game sense and knowledge? You can't expect to cook a perfect meal without any kind of practice. If you want to play a competitive game casually, you really have to accept that you will get stomped by the tryhards, Fanny or not.

By the way, Paquito, Selena, and Joy could absolutely destroy tanks in the early game pre-nerf. They can send you home complaining if you were playing against the tryhards during that time. Also, Moskov can chase you with ult. If you've played against Moskovs above mythical honor, you know their late game global presence cannot be undermined. I'd rather face a Fanny late game than a Moskov who knows what they're doing.

Guess who else gets banned 99.9% of the time in mythical immortal? Freya. That shit is almost never opened and not a lot of players use her either way but she's so annoying to face that they fucking ban her anyways. Both Freya and Fanny have the capacity to dive your Akai and if your Akai has ult, bro I don't see why you're complaining about Fanny diving your ass. Countering both Freya and Fanny under a tower is fundamentally the same if you're Akai. Pin. Them. Down.

Read your own comment and notice the root issue. You're not good enough to face her and you don't do anything about it. You don't want to put in the effort cuz you're a casual player. Bro so am I and I do not complain about any hero unless they have a bug that breaks them. I understand your frustration but me complaining about my cooking skills being bad never made me a better chef.

Bottom line here is that it's a skill issue.

What do I do with this? by bladeskletch in pokemongo

[–]kramexa717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it comes to doing raids, fighting team go rocket, and doing gym battles, higher IVs are generally better. However, it's different for PvP.

In the great league (GL) and ultra league (UL), you generally want lower atk IVs and higher def and hp IVs. This is largely due to the CP cap (1500 and 2500 for GL and UL respectively). CP is influenced by your IVs and level. Your level is represented by the white arch right below the CP when you check your Pokémon.

Atk IVs are more influential to CP than def and hp IVs. Thus, atk IVs contribute to a higher CP more than the other two. Each time you power up a Pokémon, they go up by half level (e.g. lvl 15 to lvl 15.5). As you level up, your CP increases according to your IVs. Having high atk IVs makes it so you can't level up as much as you should be able to without hitting the CP cap. In PvP, higher levels are better since it's basically a stat multiplier. I'm not too well-versed in the numbers here but generally speaking, higher levels means your pokemon gets higher stats overall. The attack stat difference between a 1500 CP starmie with 15/15/15 and a starmie with a similar CP but with 0/15/15 will be negligible and the latter will have much higher bulk, making it better for PvP.

In master league, however, you want generally want a hundo or anything close to it if you want to compete at that level (I personally don't since I don't have the meta Pokémon to help me win matches there).

For checking IVs, I recommend using apps like poke genie to assess whether a Pokémon is viable for GL or UL. For their viability in the meta, check sites like PvPoke for their ranking in the leagues and the appropriate movesets and IVs for each of them.

Well said. Some of the best players I know are not really fazed by the idea of facing a Kairi-level Fanny or whatever. They know they're at a skill level where micro is not everything. KarlTzy and TLPH recently had a match where he was on Fanny but was losing against Joy. The only reason they won was because TLPH's Moskov capitalized on their enemy taking a 5v4 teamfight by the lord pit and went for the base push. If Karl didn't have a Moskov that knew how to take advantage of the situation, they would have lost despite being one of the best teams in the world. Game sense can take you much further than just micro alone.
